flute is most difficult because nobody teaches you how to move fingers to generate sound and it’s fluctuations. If i had a english guru i would learn it in few days. problem with indian gurus is they master the technique but very bad in transferring that knowledge. For example every guru on youtube teaches how gamak is played. nobody teaches how to produce music out of gamak technique which means how to move fingers with what speed and how to implement it into gamaks and ragas.
i also learned myself that raag is not originated by just moving fingers but by singling while blowing. you need to actually sing while blowing by controlling the blowing itself
@@arunkumaracharya9641Thank you for valuable comments.(and I’m sorry that I didn’t notice for months…) Yes, it is not easy to teach correct fingering for Bansuri, and even many teachers uses wrong way. And it is also difficult to understand if you cannot take face to face classes for days. But yes, most important thing is learning from singing:) I totally agree on it.
Namaste Madamji, Very Nice video,Thank You Madamji,Madamji,When you play Gamak , suppose we play "SSSS",S comes from :R".Is it correct or not?.Please Clarify my doubt, Madamji.
This is case by case. Gamak can come from both of up or down. Also can come from R or G. There is not specific rules, but according on the moods of music
We can go both ways from up and down. For me, more comfortable coming from tivra Ma, but the sound of Ma should not come... We practice gamak from Pa also, but doesn't sounds good, and don't use a lot.
Fabulous mam many were deserving this. Last year we have met in the gurukul bbsr with guruji.

Please demo by C netural flute for all age
All of my students starts from G and I don’t keep small C flutes… but at least I will try to make more G scale. Thank you
Madam, when we play gamak for G, can we take "kan-swar" ( touch note) from M ? Is it allowed? Or, can we take from lower side i.e.R ?
