Before I comment on GUY, you guys oughta give a listen to Johnny Kemp singing the dance banger JUST GOT PAID, from the 80's. Guy is an American hip hop R&B and soul group founded in 1987. This is a real cool song. Guy was the first group to sport the new jack swing sound which is traditional soul vocals melded to hip hop beats.

Please give them a listen. “Hold On” is my usual recommendation because it’s their debut single and the intro harmonies are crazy. But at this point I’d be happy for you to try anything by them. You really can’t go wrong with their catalog.
I love En Vogue but “Free Your Mind” is not one of their best songs (although I love the message behind it). They need to hear some classics like: Hold On Lies Don’t Go Giving Him Something He Can Feel Don’t Let Go (Love)
