Me and my mate just started playing and we spent like 20 minutes slashing one of these with machetes and then gave up and forgot about it haha , so im glad you've showed me how to crack them open !
You missed one!! Easy to do, next to the Monolith of Greed! Before you go inside the Monolith, (after killing the baddies) go around the left side, up to what looks like a dead end at a rock wall. There is a space between the wall and the cliff on the far left side, go thru that and around the cliff. Less than a quarter of the way around, you can see the Strange Rock. Throw your grenade and collect the loot!! There was a whisper at the entrance that told me about this, but I can't remember who wrote it.
