Thank you for your message. As a pretty much beginner as I am I was quite happy for the driving. But I think I wasn't able to get the car as fast as it should have been. You can always practice driving and get it more precise and constant but I think I need to think some setup things also. I think I was lacking there something. But I have already some ideas I will try next summer! :) I google translated your message and understood that you liked the circuit. It is very flowing and I am happy our club has a circuit. And it takes only like 10 minutes for me to get there from my home. :)
Thanks. I wasn't getting the lap times I wanted. But when there is nobody else driving one cannot really know that is it me or is it just that the track isn't as grippy as it could be. It felt that it was quite ok but on some other days it might be grippier and even though you might feel you are driving the same lap times there can be a relatively big differences in the end with the times. I wasn't able to take the corners in the fastest way but I guess that is what is the point in training :). On this track those two corners before the main straight can be done quite nicely if you are able to get into the inner line, there is a very nice grip but as soon as you drift even just a half a metre away it is much slower I think. Or at least it feels like it. Did you notice this layout is like it is on the Fiorano track. The driver's stand is just on the opposite position (not along the main straight).
@@OnroadRC_and_OffroadRC_Finland mate the car setup wil turn your side as long as you test alot you wil lurn it and when somthing you did works you wil never forget it but grip on the circuit wil never ber the same but when you found a nice setup you just have to tweak it if you want i can sent you somthing you can look back at when confused if you get me you mail adres i wil sent you this
Nice, congratulations on finding a car. Yes, I think many now think that for example Infinity is a faster car than Shepherd but I think the differences are minimal and it is actually hard to say which brand is faster than another. Maybe on top level currently Shepherd is a bit underdog because there is those arrangements going on on the background. But I think it will no go to a better direction because of the new company backing up the brand.
Yes, you are right, 90 degrees is too low. I am now just replying to these unreplied messages and don´t remember what happened in this video, hopefully i leaned the HSN at that point?
This temperature thing is a bit vague for me. I did get some info about the temps last summer. The people that sold this engine to me have a long history in this class and they seem to know a lot about in general. If i remember right I was told that this MAX engine is a one that could be run hotter than 105 without problems, like 105 to 110 at least. But this is the problem for me that there is a lot of info coming from different directions and it is hard to really know that who really knows.
Sorry for delay in replying. I am sorry, I didn´t do this class at all this summer. I realized it took quite a lot of money last summer and I was kind of forced to save this summer. I don´t remember now the pipe, that I do remember it was a MAX pipe. I will try to check it an get back to this :).
I am quite sure there was some problems either with the engine or with the carb. Even though I am not a master with these the behaviour of the engine was odd. Next summer I will be back with OS eurospec. I still have also this kind of MAX engine, a new one.
素晴らしい走りだ It's a great driving.
サーキットレイアウトもいい。こんなサーキットは日本にはない。羨ましい。

このサーキットはフラットではなく、傾斜がある。
ますます羨ましくなりました^^

89.9 Celsius on the HSN seem a little cold, I think you can go 116 Celsius in those cooler day.
I dont think so mate its a Novarossi based engine never run it to 116 its way to hot you need to be around 90 to 105

Are you using a 5 port ?
Its a max power rp9s its a 9 port engine for onroad cars like this one i have the same engine
Yes like it was already mentioned here it is a 9 port.

I’ve completely ruined my shepherd! It’s been converted to brushless for speed run’s it should have been left nitro!
