I have Problem once i recahed my friends base (We spawned so far away from each other) base and made a new bed it wouldnt let me sleep any ideas why that is? I destroyed my bed that I slept on my way there?
Bonus tip for Number 8: If a shell is charging up to roll and there's water nearby stand in front of the water. Creatures can't swim, meaning if they touch the water it instantly kills them and leaves their loot on the coast.
Bonus bonus tip for #8, hit shells with a pickaxe! Not only does it treat them as a rock (so you deal mining damage which is way higher than normal) but they also get knocked off balance every 2 hits, which makes a really easy chain to just kill them with no resistance.
Fr. I hate fortnite. I'm 32. It just isn't my generation. I NEVER thought I'd be playing fortnite. It doesn't feel like fortnite at all and really feels like a separate game. I've spend hours so far. Definitely a unexpected gem of a game
the last tip is great. I hope they add a No Durability option for the world creation. Its really weird that people try to shame others for something that doesnt affect their experience. Durability is a bit much in Lego Fortnite, stuff breaks a bit too fast and getting some tools back is way more hassle than its worth
Tip: if your friends join your world and it spawns them in a frozen zone super far away from your home, have them make beds and sleep in them once in awhile on their journey to your village, because otherwise when they die they will be all the way back where they started. This definitely didn’t happen to us last night.
UUUH that happened to me too many times like 76!!! Problem is once i recahed their base and made a new bed it wouldnt let me sleep any ideas why that is? I destroyed my bed that I slept on my way there?

You can use creatures to mine resources for you. I once found myself stuck in the desert and didn't know my tools weren't strong enough to break the cacti and get flex wood. So I kited a brute over and his attacks were enough to destroy them for me.
Tip - kinda expanding on one your video, but if you’re going out farming empty your inventory except the tools you’ll need AND 6 planks. Pop into a cave to mine some obsidian and BEFORE your pickax is going to break, use your 6 planks to pop a chest down. Put your tools/weapons/shield in it and break it open. Super important later game -- do not do this with enchanted weapons. They lose the enchantments if you use this glitch.
With the repair system, always keep tons of granite slabs being made. The durability enchant takes 10 each, so if you got an enchanted pickaxe and want to repair it, you can just put the enchants back on for cheap.
One tip I would contribute is to build torches ASAP. At night, you cannot explore because you will get cold, and you either have to exit your world and come back to reset it to day, or just wait a long time, during which you can't farm anything and are just sitting around. It makes advancing your village take a lot longer.
This game isn't as hard as yall make it out to be. I went in blind to this game and I've had no serious issues with stamina....here's a tip for you: don't ever let your stamina go all the way depleted. If it depletes, it won't let you use it when it's refilling. So before it depletes, let off sprint and let it refill a bit. Another tip: traveling at night is relatively safe. You don't even have to sprint run most of the time because the skeletons melee animation requires them to stop to swing. So as long as you're moving, you can't get hit. Also a insanely important tip that this video didn't mention: roll is your friend and you can absolutely handle most combat situations with rolling and hitting from behind.
Yo, quock tip on temperatures, if you find yourself in a need to warm up, hold a torch in your offhand, place down a campfire, ir both depending on how bad it is, and ifbu need to keep mobility. Also, unless youre freezing or burning, you can usually tank temperature with just a bit of food. Also, try to farm snowberry shakes as much as possible, because they are the fastest use time heal item that heals over 4 hearts. 12 hearts is a full heal in 90 percent of situations, so remember to keep them handy. Finally, you can get villagers to produce mega heal items out of thin air by just setting them to work by grow food, and having an oven 9r juicer placed. With those, you will be rolling in pies, slap juice and snowberry shakes.
Fallout for #2, its possible that when you break the chest items will just phase through the worlds floor and be gone forever. If you build a floor underneath the chest, it will prevent it from happening After doing the chest glitch like 30 times, its only happened a couple times. But after it happened like twice, I just always did it with a floor underneath
It's amazing how so many people aren't familiar with Lego games.. this isn't a new game mode in Fortnite, it's a stand alone Lego game with a Fortnite collab that just happens to be in the Fortnite launcher. There's tons of good Lego games, Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Marvel etc.. this one is different in the sense that it's open world, though, so it does have that going for it.
Tip there's a current bug in the game where snowy sheep will not give heavy wool so make sure to assign one of your villagers a wheel so you have a chance to get heavy wool thread what you do need for crafting
I haven't seen anyone talking about this tip: You can find friendly villagers out exploring and have them join you on your adventure. That way all of your villagers are back at the village working. I have 5 villagers plus 1 with me exploring at all times
I love that fallout is covering this game. Honestly, I hope D2 players come over and get a taste of how a game is properly run. I'm one of those odd Fortnite/Destiny2 players, but it's always been Fortnite that gets the most gameplay because it's a blast, the game is run amazingly well, & I don't get FOMO when I don't play. Sure Lego Fortnite is a little buggy, but watch how fast those bugs get fixed, as opposed to you know who...
there's a health charm that actually generates spare hearts beyond maximum if your standard hp is full, and it will not decay your hearts faster than the charm produces them if you're in extreme weather. i spent a long time in a lava cave and ran out of the cooling juice so even scorching i wasn't losing a full temporary heart so equip that bad boy too
4:16 for tip no. 8 theres another way to counter roller attacks; just position urself behind a tree/log/boulder and said obstacle will cancel the shield and give u free wood/granite w no effort
I have no real interest in Lego Fortnite, but commenting to hopefully train the almighty algorithm that Fallout Plays should be promoted as a creator, not just a "destiny creator". High quality content as always!
I'll add an extra tip that I wish I knew early on: Try to build your 1st base to where it's not a hike trying to go from the grassy biome to the desert biome, desert biome to frostlands, etc. This will save you a TON of time when you need to go especially to the desert biome for resources.
HARVEST FLEXWOOD WITHOUT DYNOMITE. When harvesting flexwood from cacti. in early game it requires dynomite. you can save your dynomite by runnning into the bandit camps in the desert. Strategicly stand next to cacti when they are throwing explosives at you. dodge, and collect. they even give you more blast powder when you defeat them. double win!
you can stun lock the shells if you hit them with a pickaxe twice in a row. do advise to only do 2 hits then reposition since the shells move a little when they get stunned.
Another Pro Tip: Instead of gathering the raspberries, punch them. The vines and even the berries themselves will be eaten by the animals to make them drop food, fabric, and fertilizer. Got a 30 stack of vines? Then they give you like 6 milk, egg, or wool.
I rolled my eyes so hard when this got annoucned at the Game Awards.... but I hate to say this actually looks way more polished than I'm expecting (help me).
A few things that I have found out while playing: 1. You don't take fall damage when you hit a geyser 2. If you hit items into the lava, they will just sit on top and don't burn away like Minecraft. You can build floors over the top to get the items. If you land in the lava, you don't die instantly but will bounce around 3. Water kills all hostile creatures. Even brutes! Lure those bad bois into water and reap the rewards 4. All caves have two points of entry. If you find one and then work your way through it, you will come out the other side at a different point on the map 5. The game follows what I call a "biome progression" model. It will lead you first to the grasslands to explore, then dessert, then snow. It does a really good job of having you learn systems of each biome before moving onto the next 6. You can make villagers leave! If you have a villager you don't want so you make room for someone else, you have to break their bed and not build another one in your village for 5 in game days 7. When swimming, if you are low on stamina start jumping. Jumping doesn't take stamina and you can extend the swim. Going off that, if you run out of stamina while swimming you don't die. The game spawns you to the closest land source. So sometimes it helps if you're close enough to the other side!
Yo, caves dont always have two points of entry, and some caves dont even have more than one 'room.' So dont go around searching for an exit you will never find. Also, I have spawned into a desert biome before. The game sucks ass on showing players what the next step of progression is. This is fine, because most of survival is about exploration and discovery. But I got stuck trying to find where stuff was for so long, especially since there isnt a wiki as far as I know yet.
@stelthstriker7867 Good to know! Every cave I've been in has been multiple rooms and has two points of entry and I've found about 10 of those. Definitely agree spawns can be rough!
Some people have problems finding the desert biome in survival so what I’ve done is create a sandbox world with the same code as my survival and then I can fly around the sandbox map and find exactly where my desert is located
This is actually crazy. I haven't looked into Lego fortnite at all and hust assumed it was another collab for the BR mode, but it's an entire game?? That's crazy. definitely will check it out.
i have a tip to add to this! how to get tons of crops easily! turns out theres a bug in the game that allows you to instantly harvest a planted crop. when you break a seed in a plot, you'd expect it to just break or at most give you the seed back, but this isnt the case! if you break a freshly planted seed, it'll give you the full plant as if you had waited for it to fully grow! just put a stack of seeds in a farm plot and then just attack the freshly planted seed with an uncommon sword and you'll quickly get 50 vines and 50 of whatever plant you wanted! its still working as of today!
Make tons of chests and save everything. Makes leveling up your second and third biome towns to level 10 a piece of cake! Different biome give different crafting recipes.
One thing that drives me nuts about this game is I have 20 buildings for the villagers and they all always just pile in my house the little log cabin but not one person goes in the huge fancy cabin
mark caves so you know if youve been there before. put a bed at the beginning of the cave(and a chest with a some food/spare weapon) in case you die in the cave
What does being older have to do with it tho? We all grew up with Legos, even if you're 80. We all grew up with video games if you're younger than 60. I really hope as time goes on, this whole personal shame older gamers feel disappears. Enjoy your life.
Fallout, do Fortnite Festival tips. I need other players to learn how Rhythm games work. Also, people need to know to bounce in that mode if they have no songs popping up. Anyways, played some of this and its a cute little mode.
better tip. use all your villagers for work. start another city off in the distance and have the random npcs come follow you. the ones not assigned to a bed.
Best tip for shell creatures. Don’t use a sword 😂. Hit them twice with your pickaxe in quick succession and you will stun them. Then as they jump back and shake their head run forwards and do it again 😂😂😂. Instant perma stun. Works on all levels of them from green to purple. Trust me it’s hilarious
