Celine was a real quick study learning English. So amazing to even see some of these younger clips of her learning it early on. There was one other clip that has been in several featurettes about Celine where she went back to Berlitz school during her year and a half off preparing to learn English fulltime..... she's practicing saying the word "Corresponding" (The Chorus Ponding)
Any of you guys, can give me an answer? I was always curious about if today her accent is so strong? Does she make mistakes in English that natives would never do??? I'm ready for this conversation. 😄❤ I'm a language lover, and a Celine Dion lover.
She has a very strong French Canadian accent when she speaks English and her level of language, whilst fluent, is definitely not perfect. She uses some non-native turns of phrase that make it obvious that she learnt English later in life and not during the first few years of her life.
