Beds is the latest in our Monday Monologues series, showcasing new work from the most exciting UK and Irish writers including Travis Alabanza, Natasha Brown, Shaun Dunne, Sophie Ellerby and Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu. Written and recorded during the lockdown, the monologues are released fortnightly on Mondays and will be available to watch for the next 12 months.

When I first saw his casting for Nikolai, I was kind of meh... but after seeing this video I am sold!!! He has a perfect way of flirting with the camera and really entrancing you into his story. Can't wait to see what he does with the character!

Wow... How Patrick Gibson performed the monologue was wonderful. I also liked how through this monologue about beds,expresses his anger, disappointment and in the end says:"This single bed is better" meaning that being single is much better than being in a hard relationship that you only give and never take.

I discovered Patrick Gibson in a 2014 series called The Passing Bells and kind of fell in love with him and I’ve been keeping an eye on his career ever since.
Really recommend The Passing Bells as a series.
