These lights have been great. I have driven both Volts since making this video and these are definitely brighter than the other volt we have. You can check out the reviews on this light kit here: amzn.to/3s4i9S6
@@SeidelRanch awesome thanks! I notice there are the fully integrated ones from the same brand. Im gonna give those a try. Although I’ve heard they might run a bit hotter? Have you tried the integrated lights?
I thought I did, but that may have been a different video. The Volt really does not have high and low beams. It has a shutter that lifts and drops to change the output of the light.
Be careful about ordering these LED bulbs. If you plan to install them correctly (with the LED chips facing 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, you will probably be disappointed. Auxito and their sellers advertise these bulbs as 360 degree adjustable, but they evidently are NOT. I bought two pair, from a eBay authorized seller, that were not adjustable. I asked to return them, and the seller's response was, "if I give you $10.00 off, would you just keep them?". I filed a dispute with my CC company, and with eBay. I received a return authorization and shipping label from eBay, and placed the items in the hands of the USPS. Today, I get a message from eBay telling me that my return return request has been closed, with no further appeal. So now my resolution lays in the hands of my CC company. A truly sorry way to do business, on everyone's part, the seller (super_auto_light), eBay, and Auxito. I suggest that you buy a different product, from a different source.
Mine are adjustable. I wonder if you got a bad product from a bad eBay seller. I always buy from Amazon unless I know the eBay seller (worked with before). Returns are much easier and you usually get what you paid for. I have been burned too many times on eBay.
@@SeidelRanch When I FINALLY got someone from Auxito on the phone (since I got no help from the seller), they told me that they don't make them adjustable, anymore !!! Why would a manufacturer take away a positive feature, and make their product less desirable ???!!! I also buy from Amazon (or direct) usually, but the price was better from eBay. Live and learn..... The lights that I replaced these POS lights with, are ALLAs. They are great !!! And I bought them direct.

Those lights really light up the road. I need to rethink all my vehicles now. My truck lights are nothing like that. Great video.
They are pretty awesome. You do need some for that old truck. Maybe your driving would get better too.
That’s a great upgrade!
Yeah, I was surprised they were so much brighter than the other LEDs we put in the other Volt.
Wow great recommendation! Gonna pick one up for myself!
Umm… I think they renamed all their models… I have no clue which one is for first generation Volt now.
Figures. Let me look this up and see which model this is now.
Awesome. Thanks.

I wish when you did the night driving you would’ve flipped your highbeams to compare them to your low beams and how bright both are

@@SeidelRanch thx. Found your other video w hi/low beams.
I just stuffed all the wires and the box that powers up the led . Hope it Dosent flop in there and break anytninf
That is what I did on our Volt. I have not had an issue with it. It fits fine and the cap holds it in place well.
Are there still working with no problems ?
Still working great.
