I am a woman women should not preach in the church because of what the Bible says

    • @gerryjones131
      @gerryjones131 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

It does not say in the Bible that women and men are equal I don't know where you get that from it says the anointing ordered is men AR over women and then come the children that is what it says in the Bible men are over women and then the children but it also says that men should love women as much as they love the Lord how can you go wrong if a man has that attitude toward a woman

    • @longestthing23
      @longestthing23 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

@@gerryjones131 View it in the same way as you'd view the relationship of the trinity. God is the head of Christ (1Corin11:3) and yet they are equal in the Godhead. Because God is the head of Christ does not make Him more valuable or superior to Christ, but rather they have different roles. Remember the Bible also tells us that Jesus is God's servant (Acts3:26). These definitions do not indicate level of importance or any form of discrimination, but rather it defines order and roles of each party which in the end are supposed to be complimentary to each other.

    • @longestthing23
      @longestthing23 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

@@gerryjones131 It actually says in the Bible that men and women are equal. We are all children of God as we are saved by Grace through faith.
      Gal 3:28 tells us:
"There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

I think of how there are fewer men conferences.
As a blue collar worker: I get up, have devotions for an hour, and then go to work. Work. After work, run errands. Go home. Have Supper. Mark the home school work, and do my own paperwork or chores. Clean up. Read the children their Bible stories, brush the teeth pray and go to bed. Saturday I do the house work and yard work. Sunday, get up, go to the Church meeting, come home, have a nap, hang out with the kids a bit, read the Childrens Bibles, pray and go to bed. Repeat.
Who has time to organize conferences? Who has time to go to them? Us men are stuck in a sort of slavery of sorts. And leadership in the Church? Who has time for that? Even helping? I don't even go to men's breakfasts, let alone bible studies.
Yes, it hurts. Yes I grieve over it all.
But. God first. Wife second. Kids third. After that, who has time for all this?
    I rather dislike the slavery.
But. It is what it is. Live with it.
We have the hope of heaven!

You are a hero, fighting a war, loving & serving your Father and your Family. Working hard for your Family is admirable. You are not a slave, but a Soldier. Disciplined. Please, for the joy of your soul, - in the very least, find a hobby you are passionate about & always find a way to be able to enjoy it. Give your wife that same opportunity. Honourable men who fight for their faith and family are rare.

A secular and worldly minded listener would say this is discriminatory. However, God did not create fish to fly, nor did He create birds to swim. Both are equally as loved and valuable in God's creation, both serve their own purposes by the glory of God. Women are not lesser, we just aren't fit for certain roles-- just as men are also not lesser, but are not fit for certain roles as well. Fish don't fly. Birds don't swim. Both are loved and have their own unique purpose.

22Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. 24Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

we are all called to be servants and being a servant does not mean you are without a brain or below anyone, i think your definition of a servant is flawed, being a servant does not mean Jesus doesn't love you...Jesus was a servant does that mean God his father did not love him?? being a servant does not mean you do not have a brain or mind either...also you say that you BELIEVE this and you believe that BUT does your belief line up with the Word of God? Muslims believe Jesus was nothing more than a prophet, does their belief line up with the Word?? Someone once was going to jump off a tall building and was told if you jump you will surely die because of the law of gravity, the person replied back no I will be fine if I jump because I don't BELIEVE in the law of gravity...your belief will not change a God truth. There is no gender in the spirit but here on Earth there are God laws and order, fight it if you want but good luck with that one..Man is the head period as appointed by God himself...the Word is truth despite what you believe

    • @tonyroy8410
      @tonyroy8410 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

on the edge we are called to be servants to men and God, serving our fellow man/woman is how we serve God...your belief is flawed and does not line up with god's Word, you are making a false god that you can snuggle up to and makes you feel good but that is not the God of the Bible. Idolatatry and pride is what you need to repent of

Man is ordained by God to be the roller of all creations, he is also the head of the women. It's a gift from God, and governmental ταχις.
On the other hand, women are given to be the mother of all living beings, it's also a great gift (for those how got opened eyes and wisdom to discern)
The spirit of this world is just the opposite to God's economia and to what God Is.

People, read the text in context. 1 Corinthians 11 verses 5 and 6 compare UNCOVERED HAIR with SHAVED HAIR. If you pray or prophesy without your head covered (aka something over your head) then you are just as a woman who has shaved her head. Therefore, you cannot conclude that when Paul says in verse 15 that her hair is given as a covering he is referring to the same thing; it would make no sense.

  • @brotherfred2669

If our hair is a covering then shouldn't men have to have their heads shaved? The 16th verse is saying that there is no such custom in the churches of women having their heads uncovered.

Paul was saying there was no other custom among the brethren or the churches of God and Corinth was the oddball for doing it differently.

I know someone who explained it in such a way that Paul has repeated the argument of some Corinthians in a rather polemic manner; because of the way how unsound these verses sound. Like it really sounds somewhat weird if we are honest; e.g. the part with the angels suddenly. E.g. what sense does it make to first say women must have their head covered and later he says that the hair is being given as a covering? He asks: Is it OK for a women to be uncovered? Then comes the part with the nature and then "the hair is the covering of the head". From context you also see that in the chapter before Paul actually pled for not being legalistic about food. So from one chapter to the next Paul suddenly switches from "non-legastistic" to "legalistic mode"?
I do not suggest that all of these arguments are correct but I really find it ambiguous because of the lack of logic consistency in the line of argumentation.

Moses put vail on his face when the congregation afraid of God's glory that shone through Moses' face.
Exodus 34:30 (KJV) "And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him."
Exodus 34:33-34 (KJV) "And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded."
Moses did that because the congregation afraid of God's glory which shone through Moses's face.
But when he went before God, he took the veil off.
Moses did exactly what Paul said in his letter:
1 Corinthians 11:4 (KJV) "Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head."
"But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out."
Moses praying in the present of God without covering his face/head.
From that we know that actually Moses' face/head shone the glory of God and he didn't wear veil when he went before God, but it was the congregation's fear that "forced" him to put a veil on his face.
But we believers of Christ are not afraid of God's Glory because Jesus made us confident to go in the present of God.
Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
That's why we, men don't use veil on our head because the glory of God shine through our head.
And women should wear veil because they shine the glory of men.
1 Corinthians 11:7 (KJV) "For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man."
Because only the glory of God that can shine among the congregation, not the glory of man, so the women musn't shine the glory of man.
To do so, women should wear veil whenever praying to God.

I listened for the entire clip, I was unfortunately saddened by Mr Prince's lack of direction regarding spousal abuse..
The answer should have been more detailed.. and inclusive of a clear direction for a believing or unbelieving woman who may be suffering physical, or sexual violence, to create a secret plan to get herself, and any children to safety, first and foremost..
    Then to tell the authorities..
If her husband is a Christian also, then she needs to inform her leadership of her husband's unbiblical treatment of her..
Then while you are at a safe distance, in safe accommodation elsewhere, you with your leadership team can work out whether counselling will help.. but if the wife has been subjected to such violence that she fears for her life, or is too traumatised to conceive of working toward reconciliation, then seeing as though her husband broke the marriage covenant in such an unbiblical way.. she of course has the option of staying away for safety sake.. and that safety is a God given right!
The daughter of the Almighty is not a punching bag.. and is not expected to suffer ongoing abuse of 'any' kind.. not violence, not verbal abuse, not put downs.. that is not love!!
Her husband is commanded to love her as Christ loves His church..
If your spouse is failing to love you as Christ loves His church.. and if he continues the abuse, then the wife is under no obligation to stay within that abusive relationship..
My Mother was Christian, my Father not, and he was violent..
Mum thought she was doing the Christian wife's duty by forgiving constantly..
Us children witnessed bloodshed often, and that violence has devastated our lives.. it set the atmosphere for our lives, and we have all struggled as a result in our own way..
Do not tolerate nor enable your spouse to remain abusive or violent toward you.. and if there is any type or emotional or physical violence toward your children.. then you need.. for their sake.. to leave now!!
If your leaving shocks your believing husband into counselling and remorse and true lasting repentance, then praise the Lord.. but don't fall for empty tearful promises..
If you've gotten to a safe place but are working toward reconciliation, even taking a year to feel out whether his repentance is real and long lasting.. is definitely wisdom from God..
..but under no circumstance should you believe for a split second that being the 'handmaid of the Lord' means accepting cruel abuse from your husband..
Also, Christian husbands, two of my younger brothers have been in marriage relationships with emotionally abusive women, one was physically violent also.. thankfully that second brother left his wife..
My other brother tolerates the emotional, and financial abuse, the insults, the ongoing unloving attitude of his wife.. i believe his choice to stay in that abuse is a direct result of what we grew up with, and that's why he puts up with it all..
What we witnessed as children was not normal, not acceptable, and it provided a broken image to us children of what marriage is supposed to be about..
You guys too can inform leadership.. friends, family, counsellors.. and let the professional counsellors, or your Christian leadership, try to facilitate counseling if you feel you can deal with a reconciliation.. but you don't deserve that ongoing abusive treatment either..
A covenant has two parties.. it has parameters, and boundaries, once those reasonable expectations are shattered by abuse (by either party), the covenant must be re-evaluated..
If the abusive party repents.. Thank God!
If not, it's the abusive partner who has broken the marriage covenant, and you are not obligated to stay in that destructive relationship.. married, or unmarried..
Abuse is 'never' love.. it is always simply abuse!
Take courage, and in Christ's strength.. get yourself, and any children, to safety..

In my opinion, God has given woman something that cannot be understood by the world.
The power of winning her husband by example. The power of a still and Holy Presence in them that conquers atmospheres. Anybody that comes into that atmosphere comes to his senses.
It is this power that penetrates the atmosphere of the house. It is this power that penetrates the atmosphere in the church.
I always taught that the preaching was the highlight of church, no it is not, its worship out of a pure heart in unity.
The woman carries that still power that God reveals in Rev where heaven becomes quiet for half an hour.
The preaching always points to the church to bear fruit, the woman is Gods powerfull example of the effects of Gods word, it leads to fruit.
The most powerfull gifts rests in these graceful creations of God.
I am going to say this with sadness in my heart, the day we lost our woman to wordliness and following the antichrist spirit of liberalism, well lost a blessing that we may not understand ever again.
The men in the church kept on preaching, but conciousness of holiness became less important.
Some even fighting againt God and His biblical doctrine of holiness by which no men shall see God.
Many see half naked woman in the street and runs to the house of God to find rest and find the same thing there.
With the porn becoming more and more dominent in the church in secret and the woman wearing less and less. Many feel hopeless and dont know where to turn to.
Hear what I tell you right now brother or sister, get a brother to confess with or a sister. Brother to brother, sister to sister. Fast over the matter. Confess this sin in the presence of a mature witness.
Challenge this spirit of pornography and cast it out in the name of Jesus. Rebuke it in the Spirit if God and tel it in the Name of Jesus, spirit of pornography, out, out, out, come out in Jesus Name. Until there is a feeling of peace and relieve, then ask the Holy Spirit to fill that place with His comfort, receive it with your whole heart. Also cast out all other spirits that you reveal to one another in the confessions.
    James 5v16
Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
If you do not get free by private confession in your room, I beg you my dear brothers and sisters try the above. You will see how easy it can be. The Lord works deeply and mightily.
Lets not loose more brothers and sisters like in the case of Ravi Zacharias, this was deeply painfull
Hi had to confess his sin while he was in hospital, I asked fogiveness in general according to the perfect work of calcvary, that Jesus has done only and begged the Lord for mercy. I did it a couple of times until his passing. The rest is up to God our Father, He will decide.
Job has done this for his children with blood of rams and goats, how much more will the blood of the new covenant bring mercy and grace to those who we pray for and confess their wrongs. In the end its up to the Lord.
I had to say it, as the church fear to discuss this topic of pornography.
I cast out this spirit from me personally, but its was so much harder then using a witness(if two agree as one there is faster victoryl, I coughed and spit it out and the Lord delivered me. God bless.
Use this blessing to deliver the youth, I am free. Amen.
Do it hastely, Jesus is there to help you praise God, He will nor leave us or forsake us.
God bless you dear children of God.
