If you need to do more healing, use the legendary healing cloak. However, on fights where your need more damage and you're at a comfortable point with healing output, switch to the legendary caster cloak.

I was wondering if it would be an option to go for both stat trinkets (immerseus 9% ekstra, and sha 9% ekstra) as trinkets and just focus mainly on attonement healing?- My idea was to focus on crit+haste, and with this build i would be a great dps, and a great healer at the same time. What are your thoughts?:)
Its not really worth it without the int procc, which you ofc can procc 'on demand' with melee dmg. Rather go with an other trinket imo if you wanna go full atonement.

Tracey Mccabe Hey. I'm soloing it nowdays easily with Pugs (tho above 570ilvl. Could be done lower i guess but it's just smoother). 4:04minutes 10m normal record kill atm. :p (dbm is recording best kills btw) 1/1/8 setup. The thing is, it's pretty easy to heal in normal phase, even if healer get MC'd i just tell them beforehand to not stun or silence the healer, but just interrupt and nuke down to break MC...it's pretty simple. Anyway, it's pretty easy to solo heal with some good enough dps in group to force phases fast enough. The only tricky part is the dungeon/heart phase where boss pulls you up. But there you can get assist with things like Healing Stream totem, Tranquility and things like that in raid. Other than that it's pretty simple and fast, if everyone plays properly. Atleast as Disc :) You look beautiful Tracey :> Where do you play? PS: Sorry for a little off-topic here, this Disc soloing Garrosh Hc is still #1 :)

Divinity Guild Hey there a very nice performance, however one *tip* for the disc priest; When your legendary meta-gem procs, shield *4 people* in the raid with your free mana proc. 3 free shields during the procc and 1 shield on a target because you'll get mana return anyways if you shield the tank. It requires some training to be really fast on the job and another addon to have that procc highlighted in a really big manner, and it also requires a person to drop whatever he was casting but in the end it's worth it. (Saves you potentially 42k mana instead of perhaps 1 flash heal or smite)
No, that is completely incorrect. A disc priest should not be wasting globals on shielding when they could be pressing divine star or doing more damage. With the appropriate cool-down usage and a raid group that isn't retarded, you shouldn't need shields to survive the damage that goes out from whirls. And seeing as how there is no damage in between whirls (except for tank damage); smiting, doing damage, and letting smart heals bring the raid back up to full is the most optimal route to take.
VitalGuild Actually I was speaking in general, when the need is there and you want to get the most out of your meta gem proc as a disc priest; shielding DURING the procc not only grants you the biggest mana-inefficiency but is also the best buffer for random damage! Using Divine star at the meta proc is really stupid, you use it practically on cd since the cd is soo short... "World's best disc priest" you do realize it's not the priest carrying the raid, but the raid's focus and individual skill that makes this fight solo heal-able right?! And yeah I have killed Garrosh hc...

But I highly doubt your ability to give advice to someone who is on a level of ability higher than you ever will be if you honestly think disc priest needs to worry about prioritizing globals simply for "getting the most out of their meta proc" rofl. Pretty much every ability is macro'd to be cast at mouseover, target, or target of target. He didn't record mouse movements, and that is what is used for targeting & turning both his toon and the camera
Because disc priest crit and mastery have a synergy. Basically, mastery gives you better bubbles and heals, but those bubbles mostly prof from crit. If not, they're either SS or PW:S. Half of your mastery depends on your crit hehe. So the more crit, the more your mastery becomes valuable :D
Because every time you crit with penance,smite or holy fire it will heal as atonement, and heal 90% of the dmg done + put a devine aiges shield on the healed target at 100% the damage
Hey anabelle, big fan here :) im on garrosh HC my self atm , but i don't know if i can solo heal it, we even struggle with 2 heals atm in phase 1 when the iron star hits!. So far we've only made it to 1st transission on first night of progressing so it could be worse i guess. Do you have any tips or tricks? i see you use devine star, and why? i use halo since i think it will be a huge CD for whiling. i just bumped my spirit a bit for this boss so i can use binding heal with glyhp a bit more. with 11k spirit i seemed to struggle. altho i don't have the seigecrafter trinket. running with HCW pride and thok acid tooth normalW. so my real question is since i guess you're changeing a bit from boss to boss, how much spirit crit haste are you going with? like not you numbers, more like your "ratio" or whatever and would you mind posting your weakauras? i LOVE them :)
Hope it's not too late to ask a question, I checked your armory, and your mana regen is so low, was it different when this vid was made? How do you manage your mana pool, I know the other 9 people are doing a great deal in stacking up for heals aswell, but still ?!
this should be a mix of being a disc priest, the legendary meta, the mind bender talent and just knowledge of the fight (when to use your mana heavy direct healing/shielding spells and when you can just smite and be fine)
Divine star, aoe heal, takes not alot of mana and short cd. Binding heal for those close situations where he and also another person has low hp, to quickly heal both up.
the major benefit of divine star over the other 90 talents is if you use AA on cd and div star right after it, and again after its off cd. you always get the 25% increased healing and 10% crit added to divine star. as AA lasts 18sec and the cd for div star is 15. smart way to play it on most fights.

Also she is probably running Mindbender which is a 1min CD that restores a good bit of mana... I run that on CD on my undergeared Disc and I keep decent mana.
Just check WoW Armory and you will see that his spirit is around 7k, which is quite low for a healing class all around, but quite ok for a disc priest to do the job.
+Jeffrey Smith Back in MoP it wasn't worth it, Atonement outhealed PWS with optimal usage, had enough spirit with SoO gear to just use PoH/Atonement. Did a lot of damage and a crazy amount of healing.

The Blendatorium once a disc priest hits 15k combat regen you wont unless you are heal spamming. Which a Disc priest does not.
