- Why? Brutally quick deaths will happen. This is legend mode. Seems like I'm fine, health bar strong, and then BANG! I'm dead. What happened? I think that harmless looking Dark Wyvern took me out in one shot.

Ngl randomly picked this game up again after so long. I might try this at some point. But yeah, so frustrating. Can hardly trust the game to not kill you much less to slip up
I trust the game not to kill me because I have over 21,000 Life points in my current playthrough. I ain't getting one hit killed.
As far as slipping up, it may happen which is why I keep playing it.
hardcore mode is super easy but every time I get to floor 24 of caveran of living fire my game crashes
edit:but my character at lvl 10 does have 10000 hp lol that dependent buff gets strong fast
If hardcore is super easy why have only 2 people beaten it and posted proof on TH-cam?

@@1FleaBittenVarmint i have a video of my character with insane move speed and the game crashing over and over anytime i try to go deeper in the dungeon thats why the game is a buggy mess its my favorite game and i cant even play it without it crashing i even bought the steam version and it crashed so i gave up the video i have is from the disk version i bought 9 years ago go check it out all u have to do to beat hardcore is make an OP pendent rebirth 15 times and then u can go 1000 floors easy because the pendent scales exponentially everytime u beat the floor 30 boss in the lava place or what ever the requirements was
Going 1000 floors easy would be torture. Almost dying in Hardcore is the best. @@toha9460
