You might be disappointment, my personal collection has very few knives that were in the price range of the Griptilian when new. Mostly I have knives that originally sold for well under $100USD

The profile reminds me of the CRKT Septimo, currently about $45. 3.6" blade. The only downside that model is the 8Cr blade.

I like the profile of the blade, I just don't like that super thick tip.

Would oil and grease smudge even out the color of the scales? Because I agree, it looks like it's been sitting out in the sun for a year too long 😅

It sure looks like it was out in the sun, but is wasn't in the sun, it was new in the box like that. Very odd. I am first going to dry washing the G10 in my sonic cleaner, and then I plan to use a light oil to see if that will even out the colour or not. I am not sure what I will try after that.
If you do cut your bum, make a video of it, I would like to see how you do it.
If it happens I'll try and photo document the result. It'll probably be a situation sneaking up from behind in a way that I won't be able to video it. 🫣😂

I'll be honest the shape is not up my alley at all, the janky G10 aside.
It's clearly not the most popular choice, but it's good to see Kansept not only trying to do the same thing that everyone else does.
