One thing that i might need help with, if i am mistaken, maybe the brothers in the chat could help me? When i listened to the girl talking about why we were sent here to be tested and why is the test made so hard, and if Allah doesnt love us... I was always under the impression that Allah pulled out the children of Adam A.S and asked us if we wanted to undergo this test as we would have a rank higher than the angels if we passed it, and we would attain jannah. And we all said yes... We wanted this. We were asked and we affirmed that we would take this test. Then we were made to forget the encounter because it wouldnt be much of a test if we already had all the answers. So prophets were sent as guidance to help us atleast not fail miserably. If this belief is wrong then i would like some help because this is my understanding, and i dont want to spread wrong information about my religion. Please help?

For the question when she asked: "Why does not Allah show any proof now, so that Muslims become strong?"
My personal answer: Why would Allah? Do you have any reason that Allah has to personally show you proof? It is up to Allah, he may or may not give you proof.
Now the second point, if Allah showed proof whenever Muslims' faith became weak, after seeing the proof their faith would be strong again and thousands of years later faith would be weak again. And Allah shows proof, Muslims' faith would skyrocket again. It can't go on for eternity, it has to end as it is a test, and the condition for the test to end is that there will be no Muslims. And according to Quran, it is not like Allah is not going to show any proof from now on. Imam Mahdi, Isa, Dajjal, and Prophet Isa have still to come. We are lucky and unlucky at the same time.
And there are still 1.8 billion Muslims, maybe not all, but at least half maybe real true Muslims (mumin) (maybe more or less, Allah knows best). Do we really need miracles that much now? Isn't it your test? Someone is passing, someone is failing. It is the same in every test. Even if one fails, someone is still passing.
(This is my personal opinion. If I said something wrong, I hope you will correct me.) (Sorry for my bad English.)

As an afghan, this is not a surprise to me. Me and my family were on the same path away from Islam, most of them here in the west especially in Europe just think of it as culture. I'm personally from a pashtun background and my family are more keen to seek knowledge about Islam, but I've seen people from my own ethnicity more often than not on this path. I am not an Afghan but I was in her shoe once when my husband died of heart attack one day. I stopped believing in Allah and started to search for other religions. I studied other religions and read their books. I had so many questions. Unfortunately my local imams and my muslims friends and family were not much of a help. At that time I had so many of my different beliefs friends who helped me with my problems of being a single mom. They did not force me to go to their synagogues, temples, or churches but I went there trying to find the answers, but the more I listened to their sermons and singing their spiritual songs the more I learned about my own Islam. I realized the problem was not coming from the Quran and Islam. I was my own problem. I was grieving and I blamed what happened to me to Allah. I started reading the Quran chapter by chapter and there I found my answers. Allah will never abandoned us. We were the one that abandoned Him. Quran is perfect. If you are Muslims and feeling lost try open the holy Quran. Read it with open mind. And I hope and hope just like me, you will find the answers you’ve been looking for. There is no other religion out there that is make sense, simple, and so much truth in it than Islam.

I see now that either you're quite uneducated about Islam or an Islam hater. For the benefit of the doubt, I'll just share my answer to you.
Yes, we believe in Allah and worship Him and only Him. But how do we do that? How do we conduct our life according to what God wants us to? What are the rules on some issues?
Yes, the Quran does give the guidance, but we need detailed information on some things. This is where the hadiths, which are the saying and the actions of the Prophet pbuh, recorded since the time of the Prophet, come to the rescue. Need to ask about something? Consult the hadiths, or better yet, and easier, ask an ulema and he'll give you the answer based on the hadiths...
'Ayeesha, on of the Prophet's wife said the Prophet pbuh is 'the walking Quran' in essence. And he got guidance straight from Allah, and often right away. So why wouldn't we obey him, may I ask...?

It's a complete shock to me that she, as an Afghan, finds Western culture surprising. In fact, it was the Western countries that, historically, played a role in the turmoil of her country-killing her ancestors, looting their wealth. Yet, she now resides in their country and praises the same culprits, be it the British Empire, USSR, or America in recent times.
If wealth and modernity were indicators of truth or spirituality, Muslims have a rich history of dominance for almost 1300 years. The Caliphate, the Ottoman Empire spanning three continents, and the Mughal Empire in India exemplify this. In the 1700s, during the Mughal reign, India's GDP constituted 25% of the world. The plight of some Muslims and countries, mostly due to Western influence, involves looting and puppet rulers. If she is truly educated, she could have discovered this disheartening truth on her own.

sama. I notice this trends with my friends as well. When we were young we were impressionable and got easily influnced by whatever trends people see as good. We didn't use our critical thinking but take our desire as guiding tool.
Only to find later in life that most the things we were chasing after have gave us nothing but emptiness. The more you chase them the more empty you become.
Often we had to learn the hard way that afterall, it's the faith that has been thought to us when we were kids that give us real contentment. It's like soda vs water. As teenagers u want the former more because it taste better and make you look cool only to find later how it only makes u sicker and sicker, after which you come to appreciate water so much more, as plain as it is.

As I realized, if the creator exists, then there must be a purpose for our existence, and if there is a purpose there must be guidance or instructions so we know what to do and what the creator wants from us. Islam is the truth once you study the religion. The only way I can deny Islam logically and rationally is to lie to myself, just like our brother Mohammad said. Having only taqlidi Iman can save him because his environment is Islamic. All around him is teaching him Islam. But now, we live in an unislamic environment even if we live in a "Muslim" country. Our society is already corrupted and confused. The core of Iman is being attacked. So We need to have tahqiqi Iman to save our Iman and ourselves. As an afghan myself, I can assure you that many afghans don’t know what’s in the Quran. They just learn how to read it and that’s it. Also parents nowadays only focus on money and liberal education for their children. They don’t care much about Islamic studies. As a parent you have to allocate time to speak to your children and explain basic Islamic teachings to them. Answer their questions and doubts, and make yourself as a role model, so they can learn from you.

The most important thing that parents need to do is to be the best example to their children. To practice islam. To follow the Sunnah and explain everything that we follow. My Bosnian parents are non-practising Muslims. They used to send me and my sisters to the Sunday Mosque to study about Islam. Unfortunately it wasn't enough because they themselves didn't practice. We came to the west in 98 and I started practicing several years ago when I started learning about Islam. I now have a baby and In'sha'Allah she will model all me and my husband Islamicly do.

Everyone has their tests and everyone is blessed differently.
So many arabs are not practicing islam and not intrested in the least while so many non-arabs are so devoted and firm in their belief.
To the contrary an Arab that can understand and has easier access to the Quran well be held to a different standard and thus questioned and scrutinized differently than a non-arab.
I as an Arab would %100 choose to be a muslim practicing poor african or afghan than an athiest/non-practicing wealthy arab.
And why not start learning Arabic now?
First of all make the intention and make it for the sake of Allah.

Thus, I disagree with the statement that Muslims are not advanced and your frustrations about it. I completely agree with brother Muhammed on his perspectives about those 'advances' points. If you want to have financial freedom or make any development, you strive for it, you make dua, you try. This is what Islam teaches us. You may- or may not achieve your worldly goals and that could also be a part of your tests. But Islam guides us Muslims to be patient and trust Allah in difficult times so we can be at peace. I think you should keep learning about Islam in depth while practicing Islamic teachings, you will find answers to your questions. Pray and ask Allah to show you the way. Don't lose hope, sister. GOD does give signs. I'm a non Arabic speaker and struggled for weeks and weeks to learn part of Surah Baqarah. Every night, I would learn and relearn a little at a time, it was a big struggle. One night, I finally recited what I had been learning from start to finish, I was so happy and turned to lay on my right. A beautiful sweet musk started to emit from my mouth, it was utterly beautiful and unlike any perfume I had ever smelt in my 45 years on Earth. I lay there so excited wanting to run and tell my family, but also not wanting to get up in case the beautiful scent stopped. People have subjective experiences like this all over the World. If Islam is promoted in a way that demeans women (which seems to be the case with TikTok sheikhs) then she is likely to fall into the feminist ideologies which is dangerous. Our men do such a disservice to young girls and women. Keep showing her how highly regarded women are in Islam that the Prophet saw dedicated his last sermon to women and their protection.

As an afghan I would say I am proud Muslim and trying my best to learn more and more about Islam every single day as we have more access to knowledge here in west compare to Afghanistan and other Muslim countries, because there’s a lot of different religions here and if we compare Islam to other religions you can clearly see that Islam is the perfect religion on earth and your trust in Allah gets more stronger. It’s up to you if you want to learn about it or not, we can see clearly that non Muslim are converting to Islam just because they read the Quran with attention and Allah open their heart to the truth.
And most of our fellow afghan are busy on learning worldly education and life here instead of educating their kids about Islam, May Allah guide us all

This was a good conversation, I love Islam. I’m Afghan I’m living in a western country, one thing I will say is you need a good strong community of Muslims around you, your friends and family can help if all of you advise of another. 2:153 “Allah is with those who have patience” 40:60 Your Lord has proclaimed “Call Upon Me and I will respond to you” I look back at these verses at times of desperation.

It doesnt have to be in middle east. It specifically the community.
Even in middle east, labenon or iraq, especially in city didnt show the way how muslim community should be.
You can actually feel more islamic community in russia(dagestan) or even in thailand(southern part)
However, if you insist on middle east, go to mecca and medina. Those place are blessed. Cannot say the same with dubai or riyadh.
