This year was my third year, Saturday might have been the busiest i've ever seen it, crazy amounts of people. walked about 24 miles in the three days, for those who are going up next year, there are a bunch of restaurants just past the viking village that are less crowded and better quality for roughly the same price as the vendors in the NEC proper.
Picked up a really nice copy of Carcassone and Ark Nova, bunch of other accessories for DnD.
played a bunch of new games, spoke to a bunch of interesting people, had great fun.
Top tip about the restaurants, thanks for that! I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on Ark Nova. Also what was your favourite game that you played this year?
I am thinking of going next year. Good tip about the Viking village. I am also excited to try ark nova.
@@BoxArtBoardGames Jaws was pretty good, Catan Dawn of Humankind was also good but I wish they hadn't changed the 4 resources, caused a disconnect.

The table was really nice! Getting one of those is definitely on the bucket list. Although we'd need a slightly bigger one and the price tags are eye-watering 🤑
