I just got my 20"x4" JB Seat and it's beautiful but too low for my 5'-10" frame, so I want to sell it. I got it shorter in length so I could install a basket on the last two shelf holes. If you'll be riding solo this will be perfect for you and It's exactly like the one in this video. Let me know. The prices are going up though. Mine was $260 and it took about a month to get it.
Just got my grizzly and i agree with you, the seat is horrible. I actually found your channel by looking up "Grizzly seat mods" im a bigger man like yourself and definitely need a new seat. Thanks for all the info on the stock grizzly shocks too, it definitely makes a difference after adjusting them. Im thinking about replacing the handlebars with something closer to a dirtbike or BMX style Please keep putting out content on the Ariel Rider Grizzly. All the best to you and yours!

I want your seat. I was working when I pre-ordered my Grizzlies for my wife & I, but flesh eating bacteria chewed away my ankle & took me out of work. 6 months so far no paycheck and still counting. This makes Nikki's long saddle very attractive to me.

Yes, I want that seat! But I also want to try to figure out how to fit a full size seat like that and also have a little room left for a luggage rack behind it. Ariel has an extended rack, but they tell me it doesn't fit my Gen. 1 Grizzly. Still, a longer seat would be more comfy than the stock short one that I have.
That seat sure looks comfortable I can only ride for a short time with the seat that's on the bike one day I'll get a new one I like the custom look it has

Would love an upgraded seat! I just got my Grizzly, and we love it! I take my 7 year old daughter everywhere across town on it. In fact, we just got back from the library! She loves the rear foot pegs. Right now, I have a pillow rolled up, attached to rear platform with 2 bungee cords, while we figure out how to modify the bike for her. Would love a tandem length! Great reviews of the grizzly, thank you . I have 250 miles on mine had it a month. My ass hurts still from a 47 mile day to Shasta dam. Nikki’s seat is awesome, I think about it every time I ride my grizzly. If you can kick it down to me I would love it. I am almost 70 and shot my wad on the purchase of the bike, told my wife I needed a new seat and got shutdown until my birthday in august. Go Sox and thanks again

I just took my first ride on my Grizzly V2 with the JB Seat like the one you got but mine was 20" long x 4" tall. For my 5'10" frame and 71-year-old knees, that wasn't tall enough. I cut the bolts off the original seat, which is only good for small or young people, and put it on top of the JB seat and that was the right height for me. But it needs to be wider to carry my Wide Load all day. Like a motorcycle seat. I'll probably sell my JB Seat and create something just right for me or maybe have JB do the job for me.

When you say 1 battery do you mean like 1 battery on one off I'm asking because this bike comes with 2 batteries. The range really depends on many other factors like how much you peddle vs. Use throttle so long story short I have got over 45miles on a charge while peddle lightly I've also only gotten about 20miles ridding it full out
That's a good question I don't have the bag but from pics I'm guessing it's very close I did leave measurement pic in the video so you can compare I will do some more videos with me riding for comparison
I received my Grizzly on 3/9 and I'm Fitting it out now. I would like a tall seat that stopped after the next pair of holes but left the last pair available to bolt something onto a 4" shelf. have you heard of him making a 3/4 seat? He only has Instagram, and I don't want to sign up for that so I need to gather as much info as I can before I chase him down. How much was that red seat you had? Thanks!

I still had to add a small pillow and folded towel to get high enough. getting comfortable on it for the past 6 months has been a never-ending battle. The seat/pedal relationship is poorly engineered, but I love the bike and have 1400 miles on it already.

the first seat we did the one we are giving away is perfect for a 5'8 rider this one might be a little tall im 6'3 the wait time was about 2 weeks we were waiting on the material so normal wait time will be lower and the first seat we purchased was 215 shipped
I like what I've seen coming out of JB Seats. I really like the material you have on the top of your seat. I like the "Bride" top seat material. Does the material come in a color that more closely matches the color of the Grizzly? I don't pedal so I probably would have the seat made about an inch lower. What name did you order from JB as? Park Hop Till We Drop? Or under your name. Just wanted to know so I could refer to your seat when talking with the folks at JB. What' JB's phone number?

the bride material comes in other colors but this is the closest red I could find you could go with black or silver bride that would look good also but jerry will make a seat from anything you can think of they are really great to work with and we have been very happy with the whole process

I love your videos about this bike. Great stuff. I wish I knew if there's a way to get a cargo rack or saddle bags with this long seat. With the price of gas, it would be nice to carry groceries on it, rather than taking a car. I would also like to win the custom seat :o).

Well when people over 6ft add a 4in seat to a bike I'd say it's pretty relevant. Especially since if you look at the forums the thing people hate the most about their ariel rider is the seat. Thank you for your amazingly unhelpful comment.

Awesome looking seat. Just be careful about leaving it out in the sun and getting it wet. That material isn’t designed for that kind of abuse.

I cut the bolts off the original seat, which is only good for small or young people, and put it on top of the JB seat and that was the right height for me. But it needs to be wider to carry my Wide Load all day. Like a motorcycle seat. I'll probably sell my JB Seat and create something just right for me or maybe have JB do the job for me.

Yes got around 50 miles with pedal and throttle not pushing it hard

When you say 1 battery do you mean like 1 battery on one off I'm asking because this bike comes with 2 batteries. The range really depends on many other factors like how much you peddle vs. Use throttle so long story short I have got over 45miles on a charge while peddle lightly I've also only gotten about 20miles ridding it full out

That's a good question I don't have the bag but from pics I'm guessing it's very close I did leave measurement pic in the video so you can compare I will do some more videos with me riding for comparison

I received my Grizzly on 3/9 and I'm Fitting it out now. I would like a tall seat that stopped after the next pair of holes but left the last pair available to bolt something onto a 4" shelf. have you heard of him making a 3/4 seat? He only has Instagram, and I don't want to sign up for that so I need to gather as much info as I can before I chase him down. How much was that red seat you had? Thanks!
he does do that he also has a face book page that's how I always contact him just search jb seats on FB marketplace hes great and accepts paypal so its a secure purchase

I still had to add a small pillow and folded towel to get high enough. getting comfortable on it for the past 6 months has been a never-ending battle. The seat/pedal relationship is poorly engineered, but I love the bike and have 1400 miles on it already.
Okay everyone just wanted to update you. I am working with JB on a new seat, and when I get it we will be giving my old seat away. So shouldn't be too much longer before we do the drawing.

Everyone raving about the JB Seats. Curious if the height of the seat is dependent on the height of the rider. I'm also curious if they make shorter seats so I can keep my rack space for the inevitable cargo rack Ariel Rider is going to release.
yes and yes i wanted a taller seat as im 6'3 my wife has a shorter seat but they are both long saddles
I just got my 20"x4" JB Seat and it's beautiful but too low for my 5'-10" frame, so I want to sell it. I got it shorter in length so I could install a basket on the last two shelf holes. If you'll be riding solo this will be perfect for you and It's exactly like the one in this video. Let me know.
I went to the website for JB Seats . You can't order any seats from them . I don't know if they went out of business or not .
They did not go out of business you just message jb seats on Facebook and they will get back to you. Then just let them know what you are looking for and pay with secure PayPal tell Jerry I sent you he's awesome and the customer service is amazing. Please let me know if you need additional help

the first seat we did the one we are giving away is perfect for a 5'8 rider this one might be a little tall im 6'3 the wait time was about 2 weeks we were waiting on the material so normal wait time will be lower and the first seat we purchased was 215 shipped

I like what I've seen coming out of JB Seats. I really like the material you have on the top of your seat. I like the "Bride" top seat material. Does the material come in a color that more closely matches the color of the Grizzly? I don't pedal so I probably would have the seat made about an inch lower. What name did you order from JB as? Park Hop Till We Drop? Or under your name. Just wanted to know so I could refer to your seat when talking with the folks at JB. What' JB's phone number?

the bride material comes in other colors but this is the closest red I could find you could go with black or silver bride that would look good also but jerry will make a seat from anything you can think of they are really great to work with and we have been very happy with the whole process

I love your videos about this bike. Great stuff. I wish I knew if there's a way to get a cargo rack or saddle bags with this long seat. With the price of gas, it would be nice to carry groceries on it, rather than taking a car. I would also like to win the custom seat :o).
you are entered jb seats is working on the new seat now so should not be long you could put the rack down then bolt the seat thru it so basically the rack would be help down by the seat sandwiched between jb seats could put longer studs in it for you

Personally no not for me because even with re stuffing the seat it would still be shorter than I'd like

depends on how custom you go but the turn around time for the seats are normally a week to 2 weeks depending on the materials wanted

Well when people over 6ft add a 4in seat to a bike I'd say it's pretty relevant. Especially since if you look at the forums the thing people hate the most about their ariel rider is the seat. Thank you for your amazingly unhelpful comment.
