Makes me smile how you are still amazed of Filipino musicality even after reacting to Filipino singers for a few years now. I wasn't aware that these random singing sessions only happens in PH until I started watching foreign reactors. Many have already told you that singing is a "past time" for Filipinos and that literally mean it's just a random gig. Students randomly sing while waiting for their next class, because someone from the group started to sing or just because they have nothing else to do. Workers do so during break time or even during work time, just to ligthen the mood. No occassion comes without singing. Elders would ask the children to sing (doesn't matter if the child can sing or not 😆 just sing anyway. It's like were here for fun) and give them some cash for incentives. They sing when happy, angry, brokenhearted, or hurt. If you look for viral filipino singing compilations, you would discover that it's done anytime, anywhere (resto, school, street, malls, public transpo, home). You'd understand once you're finally here. But I would really love your reaction to these viral Filipino singing compilations. I'd like to see how mindblown you will be ☺ Happy reacting as always!

BuDaKhel are solo artists but they've discovered how well their voices mesh and that's how their group was formed. That's how the TNT boys were also formed
Aside from singers / vocalists you will find a wealth of talent here in songwriting, musicianship, production, etc. Please come in with a collaborative mindset. I know you are leaning towards producing for local talent, but there may be space to bring a foreign artist to record an album in the Philippines. In other words not just be a bridge to create exposure for artists but to also create opportunities for session musicians, engineers, backing vocals, etc.

Hi. Would like to suggest Cebuano artists as well.. specifically under 22Tango production. It's a local production in my city. One of the best artist under here is Lourdes. Everyone that youve cocerved so far are all big names here already. But seriously, you've just scratched the surface. Local cities have their own talents as well. :)
Wish likes them that will help. Acapella groups are often in stairwells etc. the sound is better before you can afford studio time. If you want this in the USA try Nashville. You can trip over singers and instrumentalists all over the place.
