Shows you how much confidence can really affect a player. You don’t beat Forsberg’s U-20 record without a lot of skill. Sucks he’s been poorly mismanaged.

The man narrowly avoided being on one of the hijacked planes on 9/11. Of all people, Boudreau would know and cherish how precious and valuable every day of life is.

Even when he's skating Boeser, Petterson, and Dickenson, he justifies why he's doing it. He's not punishing them, he's evaluating them; he's not judging their efforts, he's seeing if they're actually recovered.
Certain coaches will skate players out of animosity, this guy doesn't do that.
He was doing it to see if they were ready since all three just came out of covid protocol it wasn't a punishment in any way.

He’s a great coach. The way he talks to them and the way he encouraged Petey about being the hardest working guy is just what he needs. Get it together Petey we need the extra fire power

After only a month, considering the insane turn-around, the holiday video messages to fans, the humorous lighthearted media pressers, the video clips of him caring about each player... saying "i like that guy/smile!/let's go."
...Have we not hired the Mother Teresa of Coaches? This guy is like a Care Bear.
If this kind of outpouring of positivity keeps up, his smiling Budda-like face will probably be on a banner, beside Burr's in the Ring of Honour.
His positivity is infectious and he knows how the game is supposed to be played you guys got really lucky this Season I hope Bruce stays for a long while.
@@vigilantgopher9563 I say re-sign his contract after the first year...instead of going in to the second and waiting it out. The Canucks needed a whole revamp of their coaching staff and we got it with Boudreau. Been watching the team for near 50 years...and this is the most positivity I've seen in that 50. The whole team atmosphere needed to change to get to the next level.

I love that he finished with that conditioning drill and told them the reasoning. I’ve had coaches just make us skate at the end and not tell us why we’re doing it. Big fan of Bruce! Also love that he cheers the players on.
Good to see coach ramping up the conditioning for the covid protocol players. Especially Boeser, the guy was stuck in Anaheim for like a week.
I just love Bruce's enthusiasm for the game at 67! He explains to players why he does things so they fully understand. These 5 games will show if we have the components to make the playoffs. And did you notice that players are actually smiling?
He seems to be really down to earth with everyone on the ice. Like just to go out of his way to tell Garly to smile. It feels like he genuinely cares about every single one of them, and knowing that, they're even more likely to give him their all. Man, what a great leader.
Now, that’s a coach. Aggressive plays, strategy and really connecting with his players.

Calm cool and collected no mean tone, keeps info short and light. Cracks jokes and lets them be creative. Good coach keep it up bruce. (Ill do the 45 second test when i hit the ice next)

I grew up in Vernon, BC. Canucks were always my team until they choked against Boston in the Finals. Bruce might make me a Vancouver fan again. He's got positive vibes around him.

The government never said hockey can't be played. The owners don't want to play at 50% attendance. Stop blaming the government for everything.
@@JaneNayesdont be ridiculous. If it wasn't for the government, we would have fans at full capacity and NHL games running as normal in Canada. The league is simply being reactive to government decisions. I wouldn't want my teams playing to half their fans while at home.
@@PorscheJon We don't want to have super spreader events so no, games will not be at full capacity here in Canada. 50% is good enough. That's a medical decision and not yours to make. Leave science to the scientists.
