- Rebuilding an abandoned 1993 McLaren F1 and modifying it to the limit while keeping the engine N/A in Forza Horizon 4, driven using Thrustmaster TX Leather Edition, TH8A shifter and TSS handbrake. Enjoy!

Should've done the car in Papaya Orange IMO, but great rebuild either way. The F1 is my favourite car in the world.

It's probably a reference to missing McLaren F1 serial number 39, that used to belong to Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman. When police raided his compound, his men apparently hid car in the middle of field, and later moved it to safehouse somewhere deep in mountains. Car is probably still in possession of his family, because some time ago they asked McLaren to produce them a spare key, but were refused because they couldn't prove legal ownership.

I agree with you. Whenever I play Forza (which isn't a simulator) or games like Asetto Corsa (which is a simulator) I usually play in first person for the feeling and driving precision. However mixing it up to third person on Forza every once in a while to appreciate body work is also enjoyable.

As someone who lives in the UK, I love the attention to detail to the UK landscape this game has, especially the speed cameras flashing when you went over the speed limit past them xD. This video makes me want to play this game lowkey

I keep on meaning to Buy and Xbox for this game alone. I haven't played a Forza since the very first game. I haven't even tried one. Sometime this year maybe I'll go back and fool around with the best games the series has to offer. I was a big Gran turismo head. Gt4 was the peak for the series for me. I still play Gran turismo 2 and 4.

imoressive driving, and impressive game, it's probably the best the UK has been captured in any game of any genre.
the first time i saw the mclaren f1 in NFS2 from '97, I had to be around 7 years old or a little younger, this car just captured me. it just has such a casual but sporty look for a super car. plus the center drivers seat, the storage compartments on the sides of the car, the general cabin layout is awesome. always loved something about this car.
El Nino captured my imagination like that. F1 was too tame. Lol
I bet I'm not the only one to think this, but it would be really sweet if you just fixed the cars and drove them stock first before modifying them too much.

Why go to all the bother of loading a UK map, setting your steering rig up for a right hand drive car, drive correctly on the left side of the road and obeying give way markings then have your speedometer set on Km/h FFS?

This Thrustmaster costs about $930 dollars here in Brazil and our minimum wage is about only $186 per month... What a shame...
