If we look at the secret lab in the forth world, the scientist seems to be collecting parts of the bosses we been defeating, but mcmeow was holding onto the third boss to help Alex, Luna, and co. Escape from being killed for good. Well the scientist is making something called "robo kitty" but maybe robo kitty actually be mcmeow. He really lost a lot of his insides, to take a hit that big... but his body might be restored if his soul is in that robot. Unlike a living creature such as a cat, they cant live if their main parts are brutally damaged, brain, heat, spine, you know... but a robot can be revived multiple times no matter what injury it is. As long if it has the working parts, and its memories [or data if it's a SD card]. Basically mcmeow soul could be inside the robot as the memories, and once robo kitty has been activated, mcmeow will come back to his senses exactly when he died from the explosion. Or the new cat is our 6th companion. I think this cat can either be more of a technique character. Where you use his abilities to defeat enemies like a counter, reflector, or to maybe be like a ninja and steal something in a shadows. Maybe reveal hidden areas, like "ghost doors" "uncover hidden items, platforms, and text messages on walls or objects" maybe he can be more fast pace, high risk high reward. But with a technique like the counter if you turn around while running. Idk trying to be helpful
