I think this is especially valuable to Ciel specifically and rare outliers, not a meta that will be reliable or useful. Then again, it's still nice that we get alternative ways to farm that don't require double of any unit, so it's easier to make work by borrowing one of them. Mostly, I think this enables units like SOrion to loop 2/1-2/2 nodes, by using his NP to reset hits while feeding him ludicrous amounts of stars. He has 5 and 6 turn cooldowns, which with append 5 become 4 and 5, with one koyanskaya this means his S1 and S3 are usable on turns 1 and 3, you can do BNPB to hit hard an enemy, reset targeting, get the buff, then hit again. Turn 2 he just hits a BBB with all the star generation and star absorb on buster he gets, turn 3 he possibly recasts his NP to hammer down on one boss or he does another BNPB to kill a trash mob then the main boss. This is absurd and stupid, but will very often hurt more than a ST NP, especially without NP levels. And I believe there will be another instances. Another beneficiary is obviously Aoko, who is the biggest winner. It still stands to attention that it allows units you wouldn't expect to be farming material to clear nodes. It's unpractical and more restrictive than the buster reloading system on release itself (Append 5 gave it a ton more leeway), but it's fun and opens some interesting territory. For challenge quests you'd still prefer to reset the RNG and not waste a mystic code and one slot for it, but it's still a nice add of consistency
My saber Ibuki can do both the 90+ and the 90++ this event with this comp and summer skadi. Being able to mighty chain on some waves can let you deal more than one NP without starting charge
@@therranolleo468 Short of that, you could also just make BB the main DPS. Ciel pops the skill, swap BB in, pop all her skills turn 1, double koyan turn 2, and you can murder pretty much any node, so long as at least 1 of the last 2 waves is a single enemy.
one thing that this *does* do is it allows players with weaker setups to farm harder nodes because you only need to have 2 out of the 3 yourself. Ciel and BB or BB and your support or Ciel and a Support.
Honestly, I think it's oddly flexible, especially since Summer BB herself still has her AoE NP. I think the idea it can fix Quick DPS is copium, though.
Looks like facecarding Vritra node is way more powerful than just releasing NP, the raw power of NP is just too little compared to the crit damage buff + 5× damage amp debuff on lancer enemies

Let’s also take into account he was using Elizabeth, a buster servant who gets no np gain on np, run this with any quick or arts servant with plus Skadi/Castoria it gets easier. It’s also a meme comp, for fun but actually works pretty well for being a meme.
In the event 90++ double gogh sbb ciel works Ciel skill 3 and plug gogh, sbb lock deck, goghs can charge themselves full sbb can take the event dmg ce, all 3 np, gogh brave chain wave 2 and 3 Super limited to 3/1/1
You can switch both gogh with double koyan light for speed and flexibility, you'll lose out on some damage but most of the time sBB face card is enough if mighty or buster brave chain is considered (It'll work even better if sBB append 5 is unlocked)
Quirinus can take advantage of this new comp, his facecard damage is pretty nuts and the highest among lancers, his NP can get rid of waves with multiple enemies
Quick note : u olga might be coming to our roster in the near future and if they keep her kit the way it is, then you won't be needing ciel in this comp anymore Though of course there is still a slight chance that it might not happen, so make of it what you will
My take away from this is comp is that it has the potential to be pretty busted for lower np/investment units if BB's skill 1 or 2 got buffed to be targetable. I think the only issue I have with this comp is any individual character's ability to refund on face cards more than the ability to do np damage for 3 turns.
For the stheno dantes one, you can use a merlin and R. skadi instead. Use d.w skills then swap him out to another skadi. Can 2 turn easily provided there's 2 cards of dantes in 2nd turn
I dont own any of ciel or bb unfort, but I feel that force slotting BB for card guarantee all 3 waves is not as worth compared to another standard crit support + just facecarding 1 of the wave (best if w1 or 2 has 1 enemy only). In such a comp instead of plugging a support in a standard team, instead ceil allows you to facecard that 1 enemy wave and gain np doing so, effectively saving you 100+ battery, whereas the support you would have plugged can only hand you at most 70 on a single character
sometimes, but if you have higher np levels, the normal set up (friend oberon+some buff) is way more faster and convenient this set up is for low np level or insane ** node, using face cards for the remaining damage that np can't give
i wont do this for this one reason: starting members bond bonus, if you're farming bond for a especific servant, especially if it happens to be a dps (my summer nobu is bond 14), stacking as much bonuses as possible would be appreciated
Depends on the chosen DPS and support(s). If your servant has good star gen and gather rate, you're good. If not, odds are you'll want to find some strong supports to do it for them.

I think it's only really reliable if you have aoko
since orion skill 3 is on a 5t cooldown cant he use it twice with append 5 + koyan and this setup that since it gives him full face cards
