    Hey did you notice any rattles from the chassis or rattling/hollow feeling when typing on the keyboard

    Thanks for the honest review. Can you suggest or do a video about a laptop we can buy and it's upgradeable. It will be appreciated.

      The P-Series are upgradeable, but I would recommend holding off buying anything just right now, as they are going to be releasing a whole new group of laptops soon.

    Hey,great review! What do you think about the 250nit display? Did you have a chanche of a direct comparison with the 400nit screen?

    • @AICvideo
      @AICvideo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't have a chance to compare, I only get one system at a time. But as far as the screen. I would put it under the "Adequate" category. It didn't prevent me from doing any work, but it also wasn't something to write home about. decidedly average.

    This seems a better deal than X1 carbon 2019 isn't it... cooling and heating must be better on this one

      I think so.

      @@AICvideo alright i'm going for t490s then, thanks, do you think performance is the same ?

    • @AICvideo
      @AICvideo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends of course on the spec you buy, but if they are the same spec, yes, performance will be the same.

  • @curiousgeorge6921

    I found a used t490s almost brand new and a latitude 7300 same specs brand new with the latter being 95usd more expensive and 1tb vs 512 for Thinkpad, which one would you chose?

    • @AICvideo
      @AICvideo  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I do NOT like dells, and avoid spending my money on them. I have a latitude for work, and it is miserable to use, to the point I went out and spent my own money to get a lenovo (x270) I liked. so my default answer is Lenovo

      @@AICvideo you're right... Thanks i made my choice, it'll be a Thinkpad

    • @AICvideo

      lol, Sounds good! I wish I liked my work computer, it has dedicated video, 16 gigs of ram, core i7 etc, but the keyboard and trackpad are just SOOOOOOO bad, it's unusable as a laptop. and what's the point of having a laptop you always have to plug an external keyboard/mouse into?

    Could you confirm that new models of thinkpad have lost the buttons on the trackpad (left click, right click)??? I want to buy a thinkpad T15 which include the physical buttons (left click, right click). So, how do I have to set my configuration on Lenovo website? Thanks
    (This link shows that there’s no buttons th-cam.com/video/svtloV7BCBU/w-d-xo.html).

    • @AICvideo
      @AICvideo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lenovo got rid of the dedicated buttons like 6 generations ago. There are still dedicated buttons at the top of the trackpad meant to be used when you're using the track point, and you can use them when you use the touchpad I guess... but you don't need to. It still does right and left click, and has multiple gesture options, but no dedicated right and left buttons below the track pad.

    What is the battery life like in the daily normal use, let's say document 50% , youtube 30% and casual game 20%? Thanks.

      between 4 and 8 hours. there are too many variables to give a more solid answer.

      I would reach out to lenovo directly and at least get the part number. I don't know where you can buy one directly.

    Which would you choose?
    A T490s or T14gen1

    • @cheraldon
      @cheraldon 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I am not im[pressed with the T14 gen1 build quality - the case squeaks more often than not and I can hear the fan wobbling at low revs...I have a X1 Yoga Gen3 - it feels a lot sturdier than the T14, but then it has a miserable thermal performance.....

    Is this the classic Thinkpad dark black or a lighter black?

    • @AICvideo
      @AICvideo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's dark black, but they changed coating years ago, so it doesn't have that rubberized feel.

      It did get warm, but it didn't thermal throttle.
