You are a beautiful girl. I love that you are showing awareness for your disability. Growing up I hid my hard of hearing disability from people for the longest time. It wasn’t until I was 28 I decided to wear hearing aids. My best friend has cerebral palsy and he thinks he is never going to find a girl and he is almost 40 because of his disability.
Your strength is beautiful. My cousin had the same form of CP and I’ve seen his struggles his whole life, toe surgeries after toes surgeries. Stay strong ❤
After watching your videos I find it difficult to believe that with your good looks, amazing personality, positive outlook on life and your sense of adventure. Anyone would find themselves lucky to have you in their life.

And not a truck ,lifted or not ,can be hard to get in to. All of my shit is lifted or stock truck height and my son's rocket subie is a bitch for me to get in and out of.

I was told at a very early age that the only disability a person has is the one that a person imposes on themselves.
Watching and listening to you, you do not have a disability. You may have challenges, but you are definitely not disabled.
You are a determined personality. You should, if you are not already, talk to others who have the same challenges and how to handle the challenges that you face and how you cope with them.
You are a sweetheart, and I would love to shake your hand or give you a hug. Since I can't, I will give you two thumbs up for your courage. I hope God gives you all the blessings you have coming.

My brother was hit in the head with a metal pipe, with his brain damaged he can't move or talk basically he is a poop machine. We feed him through a tube so he doesn't drown.
I will let him know that he is holding himself back and he has imposed it all on himself...

My current girlfriend has cp, and I can understand how it may be tough to feel at ease with finding the place and being comfortable especially with the first date of yours when one can become so exhausted with the aim of reaching places quickly! I loved your stories. Thank you for sharing! My best date ever was meeting my wife (from Florida) here in New Zealand. We were both 30yr old and knew within minutes that we would be together forever. Here we are 20 years later still madly in love. I wish you all the best in finding happiness.
My first and worst date also involved rudeness towards the waiter. When we met she seemed nice but as soon as we sat down she just starting being completely disrespectful and even insulted him for being a waiter. I ended up apologizing to him. I ended the night shortly after and like your situation she also tried to kiss me out of nowhere. Like not reading the room at all that I was pretty disgusted by the whole thing.
I just have to say one thing. You are absolutely beautiful both inside and outside. I am a very happily married dude but were I a single guy, I would be elated for you to have ever said yes to go out with me. Don't ever let anybody not give you 110% of their effort because you are worth all that and more! Thanks for being such an awesome, positive example of womanhood.

I know first hand that it’s challenging dating with disabilities. I tell them what to expect and from my experiences, they seem to be somehow thrown off even knowing I take care of myself and I’m well spoken. Then they only focus on what I can’t do which makes it especially awkward. But hey! Don’t give up! You’ll find someone who it doesn’t matter one bit too and it’ll feel right.
Thank you for your stories. I enjoy your blogs. As a son of a physical therapist I often would volunteer at her hospital. I had so much fun laughing and playing with everyone but at the same time making it beneficial to them both mentally as well as physically.
I regret not going into the field now.

I don't see anything about you that I would call a disability, a challenge, maybe, but your confidence is so amazing, that disability has no chance.
I had one day with a young lady that had CP. I took the train up to near where she lived and walked to the restaurant where we were to meet. We both ordered Mexican food because that’s where we were at and we had a nice conversation. after the dinner, she drove me back to the train station so I could go home and I asked about a second date and she said no. I guess I wasn’t up to her standards. I did enjoy her company, like you she had a very positive attitude.

So great to see you posting so much of your life and the aspects of your dating. These are so useful, I suspect, in opening life up for so many young people who do not fit the realm of "normal" or "social kings and queens" and help them realize life is still a golden opportunity for them if they ignore those outside of their lives and just enjoy all they can. I remember a date I had after high school with a girl I had known since we were young children. Her grandfather lived next door so we played together when she visited and she and I both attended the same high school my senior year. At the end of our date we decided we felt more like brother and sister and remained friends the rest of our lives. She loved my parents, attending many functions we had for my parents, and she taught all of my youngest sister's children in grade school. I last saw her at my mother's birthday celebration when she reached 100 and earlier this year for her funeral.

You are so sweet, caring, kind, gentle and very good looking. Please be careful dating and safe, I would hate to think someone would take advantage of your disability and you. You will know when the right man comes along, that will treat you the way you deserve to be treated. I would never had made you walk any distance on a date more than what was needed. I would have talked to the theater staff to see if they had seating for your disability, as now they have to be ADA compliant. The guy in the sushi place was a jerk and was very thoughtless and rude to ask you for a kiss and I think he had an alternate motive. I wish you the best and will keep watching your videos. Ed
One of the finest ladies in my life was my grandmother. She had developed Parkinson's later. It never changed the lady she always was. The only way she could eat peas was mixed in mashed potatoes. And that is the way I'll eat mine. Also had a great great uncle who was born with polio. Never stopped him. He drove himself everywhere. Farmed his own crops and took them to the market. People with disabilities and great attitudes are awesome people

I was also born with CP. my case is mild. you are so pretty. I was able to live a pretty regular life. just remember you are amazing and can do whatever you put you mind to.

I understand what you went through. I often find women are a little freaked out by my cane. I get the feeling sometimes that they're afraid they're going to somehow break me. I find it very annoying when the person I'm with makes decisions for me rather than ask me if I would like to do something or not.
You're a lovely girl Chelsea. A true gentleman would take you for who you are and not have an issue with any disability you have. It's just a part of you that he would need to accept, because it's inside that is really what matters, not any physical attributes. I hope you can find the right person who treats you right and accepts you for who you are.

I can’t tell you how many girls I’ve attempted to go on dates with but who have no ability to desire to maintain a conversation. They will give one word answers and never ask anything in return.

Enjoyed listening to your dating experiences. My worse dating experience was my date telling me he would meet me inside the theater lobby. I knew him well enough to know that way he didn't have to pay for my ticket. First and last date with him!😄
The first date with my current gf she offered to pay or help pay for dinner, I refused of course. So yeah imo that's ideal, offer to be proper. But that is shady af to try to meet past a point of payment lol.

Hi Chelsea, at first I just wanna say that I love your TH-cam channel and I just want to say thank you for raising awareness about our Disability. My name is J O SH and I have the same Disability as you do and I have experienced. A lot of the same experiences when it comes to dating and honestly it is terrifying. What we go through when we date because as soon as we bring up our Disability and our disadvantage is that it all night they see about us and it’s really not fair when we go through on a daily basis, and I just want to say that. it is not our fault. Do you know we are just like everyone else we just happen to have different ways of getting around and some people do not understand that but unfortunately, when they look at us all they see is our issues and our challenges and I just want to tell you that you’re not alone and if I had a chance, I want you to know that I would date you in a second, because you are a kind generous. caring person you are a kind and genuine person and that is the only thing that people should look at but unfortunately when we are challenged, they don’t care about any of that. They just care about our challenges and then she says broken and I want you to know that you are not alone and one day you will find a guy worthy of you and the guys who have dated you in the past I’m sorry but they did not deserve to know you you deserve so much better than you think that you do and let me tell you a little bit about my dating experience. It was only once but back in 2013 I met this girl at this camp she was my prom date because at the camp that I used to go to they had prawns and you know I chose her because she was so sweet and so genuine and we had a great time and you know at the end of the night she kiss me on the cheek twice and you know for someone who had never experienced that before I kind of ate that up and I loved it and we became best friends after that, and after the summer, we exchange numbers and there was not a day not a moment that we did not text each other and we would text each other all the time and you know again at the time I had never experienced something like that before, so I did not know how to do it because I had never experienced that before and you know I had never had a girlfriend and whenever I would text her, she would always be busy or not respond right away, and I was always freaking out when she wouldn’t respond to me because I was always afraid that I did something really pushed her away from me and of course that was the last thing that I wanted to do and you know I would always tell her you know if I ever did he do anything that made her feel uncomfortable she could always tell me and she never did so. I kept texting her because she did not tell me to stop and you know in the end I did the thing where I did not want to do, and I pushed her away from me, and as a cop out, especially in my book, she said that I was too sweet and too amazing to be your friend whatever the hell that meant, and that you broke my heart and you know, but now that I’m older, I realize that. it was a lot of my issues, and it was mostly my fault because I kind of latched on to her because her like I said, I had never experienced that before and I did not know how to handle it when I did experience some thing like that man did I love her losing her, broke me I was in tears for days and weeks and years but now that I’m older, I understand where I was at fault and she still won’t be my friend and when I matured and grew up a little bit, I tried to be her friend on Facebook, but of course that did not work out. She wants nothing to do with me so I understand everything that you went through and I know how it feels, but you cannot give up hope.
My best date was with the man I eventually married who said to me, "You're a mesomorph with a perfect center of gravity. You could do any sport." I'd never had someone see who I might have been without the cp. My worst date was with a guy who I sensed was totally freaked out by the cp but wouldn't admit it. I catfished him a few months later and he talked about how freaked out he was, but I didn't call him out; I just was validated by knowing my instincts were correct.

The dating scene is quite wrecked these days with everything going on unless in twenties, first relationship. I have not dated in six years and have been single for twelve years. By choice. My first date was the movie theater, too. Worst dates are always when the other person seems more interested in getting laid, which usually means they want to hit it & quit. I'm definitely not doing that again unless the date is longer than a day or night. I am attempting to date again or at least get a good conversation going lately. Good luck, I wish I could date you, Chelsea, I would go anywhere with you.
