Latvian braids are quite spectacular. Thanks for explaining the different directions they can show.and how to make them working flat.

thank you so much for this (incredibly well timed) tutorial, Suzanne! i kept going back to that pattern on Ravelry, and now your video has confirmed that the Universe does indeed want me to make a Dunes of Latvia sweater.

Can you show the next bit with continuing onto the solid stockinette stitch?

I just watched your video on Latvian braids. Thank you so much. I was enchanted with them when I saw them on the Dunes of Latvia sweater. I do want to make it. I am working on Addison right now, so I can’t start Dunes yet. Have you thought about doing a KAL for Dunes?

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, Carolyn! And I will certainly consider your idea on the KAL for Dunes. ❤️

@@SuzanneBryan Suzanne, I have been collecting skeins of Rowan Handknit Cotton in the Kaffe Fassett colors. So I have some of those in my stash. It is worsted weight. Do you think that cotton would be an acceptable choice of yarn for the Dunes sweater, or would wool be much better?
