This was the equivalent of a commercial for Judaism.
We don't seek converts- we do actually try to discourage converts, but only because half hearted converts are doing themselves and the Jewish family a lot of harm, not good.
We encourage non Jews to follow the 7 Laws of the Sons of Noach.
You think there would be way to sort out those who are half hearted from those who are serious!
There is also harm in Judaism in preventing fully honest potential Ger Tzedeks from converting and/or not helping them in their path towards Judaism. Orthodox especially put out so much money, time and effort in convincing secular Jews (that probably aren't interested) that practicing Judaism like an Orthodox Jew should be their goal, yet they don't use those same resources to help non-Jews become practicing Orthodox Jews. It's good to filter out the sincere from the insincere, but after that determination has been done, then there should be every effort made to get that non-Jew to classes for Hebrew study and ritual studies, so they can become the Jew physically that their soul always wanted to become.

Mizan Rahman Israeli passport is not allowed in many Muslim countires. But Elon has an American passport not an Israeli passport. So yes he is allowed to travel to Bangladesh even if he is Jewish. Muslim countries are against the state of Israel not against Jewish people.

I’ve talked with afew Catholic people that have left the church and want to convert to the Jewish faith because of the blasphemy that pope Francis said about the Jewish people the Jewish faith and the Jewish teachings. They asked me about what steps they need to go through to become Jewish, I had to go to Hebrew school for my bar-mitzvah but it’s 2022 we have to have drive thru Mitzvah synagogues 🕍 in Vegas by now right. Judaism isn't the only religion that doesn't proselytize. Buddhism doesn't, neither does Hinduism, Taoism, Sikhism, or Bah'ai.
In fact Christianity and Islam are the only two major religions that do.
It was a religion at one point just like Christianity and Islam that converted en masse ..... before the 4th century and rise of Christianity and 8th century eastern europe. Why do you think that jews don't look like a real nationality? There is Ethiopian jews , even Chinese jews and Indian jews. All at some point converted.
@@NickyRikki Actually genetically speaking this is inaccurate. There are many different types of Jews because of intermarriage not necessarily conversion. Judaism is an ethnoreligion. We never actively sought converts.

You should read L.H Feldman exact study on this and how during 4th, 5th and 6th centuries jews were converting en masse large populations..... Also book of Esther mentions mass conversions as well. Most European jews are decendents of converts either Iberian pensula 4th century or Eastern parts of Europe 8th century. They are not related to absolutely any Israelite biblical people or nation. This is a zionist invention a modern concept. I am a Romanian jew myself and I have absolutely nothing in common with a yeminite or Ethiopian jew.
