First season, while playing grean light, Gi Hun was asked for help by a player who was shot in the leg but refused and the dude died. Season 2, another guy asks for help. This time, Gi Hun helps and the guy is killed anyway. For me, it's like his fight to destroy the games. It won't change a thing. He may even destroy this organization, the games will never stop.
Seems to be a trend that the number 001 is reserved for people who created the game or helped with the game operations lol. The Younghee doll (camera doll) was even creepier than in season 1....those eyeballs moving separately always gets me.
The rapper with the purple hair is a real rapper in Korea name T.O.P. from the group Big Bang. He is also an actor and this role is his comeback role. He had some controversy in real life pertaining to drug use so this character is basically himself.
I love the twist they did this season with doing a vote after each game, and splitting the money won up to that point. Gives the perception of a much greater chance to leave with something. "Maybe she was part of the North Korean Army" - correct. As the smuggler said when they were talking about finding her kid, she a superior officer and fled the country like a traitor.
Wow, what an intense reaction! 😱 The twist in episode 3 of Squid Game Season 2 had me on the edge of my seat, and your breakdown was on point! 🔥 Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-Joon, and Lee Byung-hun really delivered. Can’t wait to see your thoughts on the next episode! 🎬🍿
35:00 just had to leave a comment…Byung-Hu Lee is incredible in this season 🔥🤌🏽also he is gorgeous. I’ve been enthralled by him in every scene his at 😆💕
Shows that manage to get in sync with human nature tend to resonate with the audience. "Squid Game" Season 1 was wildly successful because of it. Clearly the producer understands this and makes an effort to harness the same energy. I am encouraged by what I saw so far and hope that the characters in this one will take the premises to the same level. The participation of past winners in this game sets up the basic construct of the show. These are individuals who survived impossible odds and would be willing to do the unthinkable. Excited to see what next.
It’s interesting how this batch of players are younger, their causes are also more current such as crypto crash. But it’s also a master study in human nature, how so predictable everyone is, right down to the first Instinct is to beg (to how you said “I wonder how many times they’ve seen this”). But oh, the games are definitely about to get waayyy more exciting.
@kjenriquez16 They really do this season. I'm on episode 6 and I have no idea who anybody is. I was really invested in characters by the third episode last time. But this time around, there arent any characters I'm rooting for because I'm not invested in any of them except for 001 & 456.
@@kjenriquez16 No, they don’t. It sounds like you’re just being ignorant and racist. Just because they’re asian doesn’t mean they all are the same, and they’re not chinese, again, you’re being racist. The show and actors are from South Korea.

I wonder if the games are on the walls where the bunk beds are. The last couple episodes of season 1 you can see all the games they played on the walls when they removed bunks.
I normally love these reactions but the way this is edited it seems like Achara never stops talking at all. I think she has great insight but she is shown talking so much more than Jaby, which makes it seem like she can’t just let any scene unfold without throwing out her guesses or theories.
probably the ratio of skeptics vs trusting people is pretty high among this crowd. You don't need to remove them they have hundreds of islands and the facilities are underground.
@@KCohere33 I think because he broke the rules, he was out regardless if he made it back to the finish line. The rule wasn't to get to the finish alive, the rule was to get to the finish line without getting caught moving.
I didn't expect them to change the details about the money and voting to leave the game or not because that would definitely make people decide to stay which was a smart change. That mother and son in the game really is hilarious to watch and I hope nothing happens to them. It's funny the dude with the bright colored hair called the crypto-fraud guy an A-hole because I can tell all three of those guys in the agreement are A-holes. 😅 I don't get why Gi-hun didn't say anything before the game started, but I guess it doesn't make him a target for the game runner to take out during the game yet. When they were trying to take a picture with the guy that has the bright hair the lady in the back had such a cute sad face when the guard said they could be in the picture with him. Totally wasn't expecting someone Gi-hun knew to be in the game, but it added something extra interesting to the situation. After they revealed what the first game was all I hoped is that they changed it up enough to be interesting and they delivered on that. They pulled a fast on the search team that I didn't see coming until the last minute. I knew there were going to be people that were not going to listen to him about the game at first. People can be idiots thinking someone is crazy or paranoid and you can't help those types of people not get themselves killed. At least he saved a lot of people who were smart enough to listen. The one that had the situation with the bee was one of the people that I thought would go down because they thought Gi-hun was making up people would get killed and was not taking it seriously. That dude with the bright hair is obviously the new bully villain for this season and I hope he meets the same fate as the one in Season 1. He looked like Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter when he pushed those people. It was cool of Player 120 to try to help that person in the game and reminded me of Ali's help in the first game, but I hope that they don't do that character like they did Ali. That reveal of who Player 001 was completely surprised the hell out of me. Achara is a good guesser of who it was. What I want to know is how can he be a player when he didn't participate in the first game? I hope that they throw a curve ball in and change the four games in the middle because Gi-hun is a bit of an unfair advantage and no one will choose to leave as long as he knows how to play the next game. Jaby and Achara are both right about people being distrustful about what others say because that is the way the world is today with find a way to explain stuff away. I don't trust people until they prove they are trustworthy, but I would've listened to what Gi-hun said in the game and asked how do you know what will happen or no one will believe you If he told us I'd be more willing to follow him but if he tried to dodge the question I'd tell him I don't trust you because you are dodging the question then watch carefully what happens next.
Im just here to watch Thanos aka rapper T.O.P. from the kpop band Big Bang. T.O.P. always puts his best efforts in acting to make people love or hate his characters.
I had a weird Mandela Effect watching this episode and swore that the rule about voting after each round and getting to split the money was always part of the game. I was watching with my aunt, and she had to remind me that it's definitely a new rule. there is a lot of symbolism in having the people essentially brand themselves with their votes to sow tribalism. anything to make the game more interesting to the viewers. it's the same reason they let Thanos have his cross: a guy who's gonna be high as a kite during the games makes for more interesting viewing for the VIPs and for us.
34:31 at this point we all watched the first season. The old man join the game to prevent any failure or an insurrection, in this case the game master did the same thing because Gi-Hun won last time. As every tradition the first game is always the same, but the next games are different because this guys have been tracking Gi-Hun ever since he won, even if he doesnt have a tracking device in his ear. Security in the island is no problem, the developers of the game and the game master. Research all korean citizens who are best in handling a weapon even if they are North Korean defectors, the payment is no trouble because the billionaires are the ones who are investing in this game so is no trouble how much resources are giving to the games and security.
I mean, I know he wants to take this whole organization down, I don’t blame him, but from my perspective I’d be like: “Screw this, u can go! Good luck with Red Light, Green Light” 😭👍
I don't remember the participants being tagged and separated by how they voted. It seems the game organizers purposely did this to create division within the participants to more quickly whittle down the numbers. It is kind of like the Lord of the Flies in which people (adults now verses kids in the book) departed into tribes and battled each other even though the common goal was survival.

TOP. K-pop legend ! Group big bang !!! It was awesome to see him again .!
I'm so happy u finally reacted to the 3rd one. Can't wait for more.
The first girl to die was so unlucky, that bee sabotaged her lmao
I had no idea that player 246 was the dad. My memory sucks. Hard to recognize people when they're all wearing the same thing.
Also they all look the same to be fair
@kjenriquez16 They really do this season. I'm on episode 6 and I have no idea who anybody is. I was really invested in characters by the third episode last time. But this time around, there arent any characters I'm rooting for because I'm not invested in any of them except for 001 & 456.
I genuinely can’t understand not being able to tell people apart, no they don’t all look alike, they have distinct features like most human beings😭😭😭
@@Camryn_0.5 wym they all look Chinese
@@kjenriquez16 No, they don’t. It sounds like you’re just being ignorant and racist. Just because they’re asian doesn’t mean they all are the same, and they’re not chinese, again, you’re being racist. The show and actors are from South Korea.
Thanos is a k pop singer TOP from big bang
Jaby's right about the sniper girl. Cause the dude who got headshot can't keep play properly in condition like that
No it's because he was kept alive to use hus organs for the black market and she killed him to not let them do that. Literally says that to her supervisor. She doesn't want to be apart of that
Thanos is such perfect casting because that guy IS a famous rapper irl, he's called T.O.P
Player 120 was the male actor in the glory, he played the bully who had issues with his eyes, the one who was the little girls biological father.
Jaby's analysis is exactly the same thing that came to my mind. I call it, "The Jesus Conundrum"
Thank you so much for being so consistent. I love all the content you guys put out
It’s crazy how different the script is between the dubbed and subbed versions 😅. Glad I get to see both.
Front Man/001 is so interesting this season
"That guys perfect casting" oh heck yes he is! Funny story he is actually basically a retired rapper in real life as he was in one of the most popular/iconic kpops groups ever, BigBang, until his departing last year. He is actually an amazing rapper, and I will be honest, his characters personality is basically just him lol. Bro did not need no script.
For anyone wondering, 46 billion won is about $36 million US.
That's 9087.6 million in my country 😂, for 45.6 billion won
Almost all of the players came back in the first season after the vote. But the players who didn't return were still monitored.
Its a battle of the 2 winners, gi hun and in ho!
35:12 achara's so smart at figuring out who number 1 was
Love her sm
one thing i realized before player 001 was revealed was the mask thing with the person watching the people being eleminated. he was a square and front man had the all balck outfit. that's when i realized the title of the episode 😅
I wonder if the games are on the walls where the bunk beds are. The last couple episodes of season 1 you can see all the games they played on the walls when they removed bunks.
i love this channel ! but i feel like maybe you guys should’ve rewatched season 1 before this
Two winners coming back, i got the chills...
"stop talking bro" like GURL. he's trying to help them. use ur head
23:04 I'm crying 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why?
and thats a laughing emoji
Thanos is a fun af character 😂😂
YALL SHOULD REACT TO THIS MOVIE CALLED POETIC JUSTICE WITH TUPAC AND JANET JACKSON!! ITS RLY GOOD
22 million won each is like 15k in US dollars. I would have voted to take the money and run!
the meaning of the bread
Just watched everything🙏
So good cant wait for season 3 dropping next year❤❤
You mean season 2 part 2 xD because that's what it really is haha
I normally love these reactions but the way this is edited it seems like Achara never stops talking at all. I think she has great insight but she is shown talking so much more than Jaby, which makes it seem like she can’t just let any scene unfold without throwing out her guesses or theories.
At last, Park Sung-hoon plays a good guy. 😂
Love how all reactors forgot about the body harvesting going on secretly
GET READY FOR A HEARTBREAKING TRAIN GAME IN SEASON 3 👀
Jessie EISENBERG??? 😂 somehow for me, T.O.P.(Thanos' actor) made me think of Taz Skylar (the actor who played Sanji in One Piece Live Action)
probably the ratio of skeptics vs trusting people is pretty high among this crowd.
You don't need to remove them they have hundreds of islands and the facilities are underground.
Thanos is TOP from BigBang and the pregnant girl is Jo Yuri from Iz*One
Two returning characters
The sniper was thanking #11 for taking out the guy he missed with a leg shot. He would have been responsible for that error but she covered for him.
Still, isn’t it against the rules to shoot someone after they cross the line?
Is he really though? It looked intentional.
@@rurounij I thought so at first, but he was clearly relieved after 11 got him, I think it's just the way they edited the shot.
@@KCohere33 I think because he broke the rules, he was out regardless if he made it back to the finish line. The rule wasn't to get to the finish alive, the rule was to get to the finish line without getting caught moving.
@asadyousafzai937 gotcha, no spoilers if that's the case please, remember we are still in this episode.
I don't get why Gi-hun didn't say anything before the game started, but I guess it doesn't make him a target for the game runner to take out during the game yet.
I don't trust people until they prove they are trustworthy, but I would've listened to what Gi-hun said in the game and asked how do you know what will happen or no one will believe you
If he told us I'd be more willing to follow him but if he tried to dodge the question I'd tell him I don't trust you because you are dodging the question then watch carefully what happens next.
Damn! My lady Achara is so smart!
When they showed the Piggy bank and the cash was the point of episode 1 with the bread and lotto ticket. Choose life or a Chance for riches.
Over 250 players died in Season 1's game of 'Red Light, Green Light'.😊
It’s funny you said that about the crypto guy looking like the Korean Jesse einsenberg. I though the purple haired guy was like a Korean MGK lol
lmaooo nah watching shows with her has to hurt cause she keeps calling everything before you unpack it yourself way early on
Im just here to watch Thanos aka rapper T.O.P. from the kpop band Big Bang. T.O.P. always puts his best efforts in acting to make people love or hate his characters.
5:51 - Is that the old lady from "Train to Busan" as well ?
I had a weird Mandela Effect watching this episode and swore that the rule about voting after each round and getting to split the money was always part of the game. I was watching with my aunt, and she had to remind me that it's definitely a new rule. there is a lot of symbolism in having the people essentially brand themselves with their votes to sow tribalism. anything to make the game more interesting to the viewers. it's the same reason they let Thanos have his cross: a guy who's gonna be high as a kite during the games makes for more interesting viewing for the VIPs and for us.
Finger nails are painted like the infinity stones smh that’s mad
Omg this came out yesterday yall so fast
Oh il-nam said nothing is more fun than competing to the front man in s1
gogo I need more, next episode please guys
T.O.P from Big Bang 😮😮😮
T.O.P is going to be a menace
I mean, I know he wants to take this whole organization down, I don’t blame him, but from my perspective I’d be like: “Screw this, u can go! Good luck with Red Light, Green Light” 😭👍
The first round in season 1 when 91 got eliminated
It’s more about human desperation, and how that can be exploited. I’ve done some really dumb things just for a few dollars when I’m desperate.
Damn, one of them did a crypto scam?
Hawk TUAH
Lol. Because of this episode she's gonna get another 30 seconds of fame.
Actually it seems Jared Leto's joker was somehow inspired in TOP's(thanos) style/outfits.
Oh snap not the jack Doherty reference … or was it Logan Paul
Even when taking drugs he still functions better than Jack or Logan
I don't remember the participants being tagged and separated by how they voted. It seems the game organizers purposely did this to create division within the participants to more quickly whittle down the numbers. It is kind of like the Lord of the Flies in which people (adults now verses kids in the book) departed into tribes and battled each other even though the common goal was survival.
I can tell yah rn the son and mom due are gonna break my Fing heart when one of them dies 🫠
