Thank you Dazz, I was negotiating terms with Masterseries to buy a license, but I did not have time to make full use of my trial period. This review came just in time!

Hi Dazz, i think your issues are due to your inexperience, the most important thing is grouping once you have that its all one two clicks which will copy over for that group you have assigned. I have been using for 2 years now and its the best software in my eyes for simplicity and quick design with ready calculations that can be printed on demand. :)

Darren, thanks for taking the time to have a look and review our MasterFrame and Steel Design modules. We appreciate the positive feedback!
    Some suggestions to help:
*Perimeter Loads* : You can apply line loads using the intuitive ' _Line Loads on Panel_ ' function when working with 3d panels, instead of individually assigning loads to each member.
*Copying Floors Up* : When in the Copy mode, check the option for ' _Add Level_ ' to avoid duplicating your supports.
*Member Design Groups* : Steel design groups can group and design members automatically, which is essential for bigger building designs. We look forward to you exploring this option more along with the Composite Design module.
We appreciate the feedback and may just take on board some of your other comments to incorporate improvements in future updates 👀

How much are sole trader licences these days Masterseries?
I think a really underrated part of this software, and @Dazz…this would make a great video, is the export capacity in DXF of floor plans.

I’ve not yet tried the export/import functions yet. Lots to try so little time!

@@EverydayDazz the office have issued many a set of drawings directly exported and quick text font change, rebadged and issued for rough tonnage estimates.

@@EasyDetails-nr6bo thanks, yes also if for example a third party are doing the design connections and you want to export values, you can apply a number of settings to each drawing component in the *Page Layout* using the right-hand-side options in the export menu, which includes maximum moments, shear forces and axial load.
For sole trader licences our most popular suite is the *PowerPad Plus Suite* , as it is a package that includes a mix of Full and Lite version of most of our integrated / standalone analysis and design modules, at a heavily discounted rate.
Annual subscriptions start as low as *£82.50* + VAT per month on an annual subscription, but feel free to get in touch to discuss.
