    Thanks for watching! Have you used parasite stool testing to understand your IBS root causes? Was it helpful? Tell me about it in the comments. I had a stool test yesterday at the emergency room in a different town then where i live. Even showe the nurse practitioner pictures os worm's. 12:34 I've had parasite worms for at least 3 years. Most doctors ignore me an call me delusional. Even a dermatologist. Who stood 10 to 15 feet away. Wouldn't do a skin scraping or stool test. My test yesterday they said. Was negative. Icame home and did my own stool test.. i saw worm's in the stool . I did a skin test where a dug worm's out of my scalp.this evening. Why are they denying. That i have worms.

      I encourage you to check out this test, and see if they can capture and confirm those parasites.

    Thanks for another great video! It seems a huge pro of this test is that you don't need a licensed healthcare provider to order the test for you.

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, that certainly is helpful! On the other hand, if you find anything that needs treatment, a doctor often won't be willing to use the results, so you win some and you lose some!

    This video was so helpful. Thank you! I wanted to make sure this test and website was legit, and this is very reassuring. I love that this is available as normal docs only test for a few "common" parasites. This is so much more thorough.

    I heard that if parasites are present, they are typically in upper GI and may not come out during the stool sample process. But there is something you can take to increase odds of parasites coming out in the stool. Can you tell me what I could take that would encourage parasites to come out?

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, to increase the likelihood of finding parasites in stool, it's recommended to use what's called a biofilm buster for 1-2 weeks before the test. There are several on the market, the simplest in NAC, or there are a few others. Here's a little more info on that: th-cam.com/video/7xg3z-5x6TM/w-d-xo.html

    Hi Amanda , my son had Crohn’s disease, we tested him for parasites, bacteria and it negative. Do you think this test would help . Is there a specific test that is designed to check blood parasites ? And what is the treatment to get rid of the parasites that they offer?? Thank you

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, it may be helpful, as it's a little more comprehensive than what you get in the regular doctor's office. However, someone commented on here that the test is no longer available, so I have to look into that! The treatment they offer are herbal formulas, I'm not sure of the specifics.

    Hi there, trying to decide between this and the other tests. If Ingo with this one is there another that tests just for what this misses? The Gi map covers parasites but not as extensively so I'd love to do this one but need an add on. I have about 350$ 400 max lol maybe I just take raw garlic everyday for a week or two and hope it kills all the culprits. Cheap and cheerful... thoughts?

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're really concerned about parasites, I recommend this test, as expert parasitologists are looking at your sample. If you;re also concerned about yeasts, bacteria, etc., then GI MAP would be a better bet in my opinion. Hope that helps :)

    Hi Amanda. Once more I have a question for you -I wish I didnt have any-. My doctor says that if the White blood cells in my CBC (Neutrophils, Basos, Eos...) are not elevated then means I dont have any infections -yeast, bacteria or parasites-. I obviously have ugly symptoms. What is your take on this idea?

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your doctor is right that you don't have an acute infection, but this doesn't mean that you don't have a sub-clinical infection or overgrowth of some kind. Unfortunately, these types of problems don't show up on a standard CBC, but they can definitely be causing problems in your gut. I very frequently see clients who have a clean CBC, but have lots of things turn up on a GI MAP stool test. I hope that helps!

      Hi Crystal, it's possible. If you're not sure, order a test to see what they find, if anything. If not, then back to the drawing board to consider other causes.

    I would love to try this but reviews of this place are saying doctors don’t take the results as factual evidence.
    For anyone searching you might could see if anyone offers a ova and parasite stool testing at a lab near you. It should hopefully be taken more seriously then.

    GI 360 is no good?

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not that it's not good. It's just that for the specific purpose of finding parasites, I like this test over a more mass market test kit. This lab employs PhD parasitologists to screen the samples, so the people looking at the sample really know what they're looking for.

      I purchased this test and sent it back. Anxiously waiting for my results. I have been sick for over 2 years. Weight loss, teeth falling out, I see them in my stool and my urine. This is a nightmare. Regular stool samples come back negative. $350.00 for piece of mind is priceless!
