Philip, could you tell me if FastCGI is more "secure" than CGI regarding all the "cons" security peoples raises against having CGI enabled on server side? Could I use FastCGI without all those supposed "CGI vulnerabilities" or FastCGI is just CGI with better performance so it can suffer all of weakness CGI does?
fastcgi isn't really any more secure. It does the same thing as cgi except that it keeps the processes running which eliminates the process startup time.
