IMSA, This Was An Excellent Program. The On Track Camera Angles & Helo Views Are Outstanding! This Is Likely The Best Coverage I Have So Enjoyed Viewing.
This video is GREAT!! We saw this race LIVE on Sunday at Mazda raceway and it was fantastic. You have to hear the race cars in person!! Unbelievable. We stood near the camera men and women all around the track. We appreciate that this high quality video was published so quickly!! The helicopter shots are nice! We wondered why the helicopter was flying around the track so much. Now we see why. This video really adds to the race experience. We look forward to next year!! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much, IMSA! I attended the race and wanted to watch the broadcast version, and you delivered. Keep doing what you're doing. It's only going to increase the fanbase.
l miss hearing and then seeing Bob Varsha, "The sounds of speed", that 2-3 minutes of sound in different cars and classes. Also, in the 90s when they did the "ghosting".
That was AWESOME racing!!! Congrats to the prototypes for finishing the race without taking themselves or anyone else out. That's good progress. Long live the sandbagging of the Fords! They will never win if we keep them underpowered and overloaded. Yay!
I made it through the sea of online spoilers to watch it...YESSS! Only thing that slipped through the cracks was Cadillac/Taylor Racing got third and maybe Turner got 2nd in GTD. GTLM is all secrets still. Will be on site at Petit for the finish!
would only be better if the replay was released a day earlier so people would have less of a chance to spoil it - like they did for the gtlm and gtd classes for me
Yeah, granted there's still something to be found by watching the whole thing, but it's a lot better to not know the results beforehand. More so when...while it may be their job, you try to look up something and a headline article is who won a particular race, or a championship.
Man, it's not over until Susan Boyle sings. Awww, I have to get me one of these. Damn, those GTs brake deep. And my co-workers say NASCAR is more fun, endurance racing is not. They don't know anything. Where else can you run like hell, wreck and come back? In NASCAR, you're done. Blow a gear box you're done. Not at Le Mans. If it wasn't for the #2 Porsche 919-Hybrid's gear box problem, they would have had the field by 20 laps, considering a hour was spent just in the garage.
They’re was a shakeup within the team. They pulled out of the 2017 season early. Don’t worry they’re back with a new team at the Rolex 24 this Saturday. :)
Thank you IMSA.
Getting back into watching motorsports! Thank you IMSA!

Would love it if you guys put up an extended video from the helicopters view.

You write about avoiding spoilers and then proceed to post some in the TH-cam comments still.
what a fucking great race
not reading comments here on Friday night, but at 40 min, go Risi !
That Porsche is sound loud you can hear it even on the onboard cameras of the other cars lol.
No replay for the Bill Auberlen incident? Why did he end up in the gravel at Turn 3? No video? Nothing?
It was an excellent race, but they missed a bunch of footage. The camera direction was suspect

In 1992 P.J. Jones set his GTP a recorded 1:11 sec, since that has any ones beat that recorded?

What a finish!
Start at 9:10
