It probably didn't last that long. The knockoffs were well known to fail pretty quickly. The price of an antirock is high but you get what you pay for, a quality product.
@@andys5775 Some speculate. Others have seen first hand these fail. I've seen multiple posts about this product on forums and multiple accounts of people having the torsion bar fail. The product is a cheap knockoff not built to the same quality as the antirock. If you want to take the risk, that's your call.
You may want to invest in container of anti seize lubricant for all threaded stuff. And that’s just the beginning. If you ever have to take apart anything you used anti seize on some time down the road, you’ll thank me
Great video! One of the things that sent a shiver down my spine was step one, loosening the bolts from the stock bumper. I was lucky enough to try this on 15 year old rusted bolts on my TJ! I used wd-40, an impact wrench, and finally a torch. No luck. I swallowed my pride and went to my local mechanic and he used his impact wrench (an industrial version) to finally loosen them. After that all was good. Beware of old bolts! anticipate trouble. BTW Greg, you made it look easy.
I’ve been watching your videos for the last few weeks you guys are awesome, arlene and Greg you both have great personalities, there are some TH-camrs I just can’t stand watching but I love watching you guys. It’s amazing that you guys install everything yourselves. I’d like to know what happens off camera when you guys are having trouble with your installs. Lol 😂
Am I going crazy or something like old age? Cause I already seen this anti rock sway install, months ago. Especially when you guys installed this neon yellow steering drag link from Stienjager since. An anti rock sway give away would be cool! But expensive! So I will keep dreaming!
Need to find a vender that will give you more tools to work with. It makes install easier with the right tool. My thing is every time I do a job and it saves me money, I buy myself a new tool to help me save more money on my next project. That way I can buy more Jeep parts.

Pro tip, put a piece of wood over the plastic then hit the wood so you don’t damage the plastic.
That or using rubber mallet. But used a piece of wood many times when a rubber Mallet wasn't available
Also if you take a file and dress the inner edge of the hole then the piece will start easier and go in smoother.
Can you update on longevity and performance? Cant belive antirock is almost 600 bucks. Just doesnt add up compared to other quality parts ive bought.

Guess what? Still working PERFECTLY
@Garagecouple Thanks, it's hard to find reviews from people who have actually used this one. Most people just speculate.
@andys5775 yes they do
I love this one. In fact bought another for a second jeep after

Thank you for your support! We mostly enjoy spending time together, filming, installing..Some installs turn us into pirates though
Nice vid. What bumper/winch is on the TJ?
It's a poison spyder bumper and warn 9.5k winch
Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. Glad it's not just me lol.
I think they may have gotten sued for calling it an antirock (curries copyrighted name) but not sure.
How has this held up?? year and a half impressions.... are the arms aluminum or steel?? id like to powder coat them...
They've held up great! I'm not sure what they are made of. Heavy, so maybe steel? Held up great
Hi guys, I really enjoy your videos. What front fenders does greg have on his tj? Ive looked at many but his is my favorite. Thanks
Did Greg just say Mahalo? LOL, didn't expect that.
How does this compare to Currie Antirock system? Any particular reason you chose MaxSpeed over Currie?
It is priced WAY lower and works very well! Off roads amazingly

Hey, so I'm looking for info on the anti-sway bar you installed. Do you have a link?
Does this company make this sway bar assembly for the Wrangler JKU?
I thought you already did this install a few months ago
We did! We made some changes to the video to streamline the install
@@Garagecouple I new it! - I'm sure you just wanted to test if your subscribers are paying attention to your great work ;-)
@@BerniesBastelBude I thought I was going crazy too!
@@Garagecouple you stop that witchcraft! Lol 2020 got everyone questioning what's real we can't handle questioning if we are losing our minds 🤣
Been eyeballing this but worried about it being junk. Cant believe Antirocks have gotten so expensive for something so simple.
Just FYI I tried to order the swaybar kit but your coupon code did not work but I ordered it anyways
I hope it works well for you
Hello from Spokane WA.
I’m not sure if I’m just not seeing it or what but what brand was the part and where did you get it?
That company doesn't seem to have ones for JK. What do you think of the cheap Raptor ones on amazon?
Love the videos but Greg, you need to invest in some sockets, lol. That adjustment wrench is making life harder
You don’t need hand protection devices (latex gloves) if you work with them a little more. The skin gets TOUGHER.
Lol! But can't go take care of patients (I'm a doctor) with mechanic hands. Lol
Isn't this a repeat vid?
$173 shipping?!!!?
15% off but $128 to ship it 😬
i just paid $158 flat no shipping tax etc
get some air tools
This is a cheap rip off of the Rock Jock anti rock sway bars and should be installed on front and back to be effective.
Love the way it works!
