God bless Stephanie for calling 911 when her mother was in pain. Glad the doctors found out that her mother had a gall bladder attack. I recall in 2019 while I was living at my old apartment, I got a Skype message from my father, and he told me, "Hey, I'm in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Had chest pains." When I read that, I got really concerned as chest pains are a warning sign for a heart attack. After my father underwent some tests while in the hospital (including a non-invasive angiogram), it turned out my father had gallstones. Thus, a little over a month after I turned 34, my father underwent surgery to get it out. My father was 59 at the time, but he'll be 62 next month.
Has a bright future in front her smart thinking like her style the dispatcher and paramedics deserve alot of credit also there service is deeply appreciated even on rescue 911your show rocks thanks job well done you should be proud ! Joe

This girl is intelligent, she unlocked the door before she even called and was told to, and the way she talks just seems very smart for her age, also she called grandma! I think most kids would freak out and scream on the phone but as soon as she got off the phone she called her grandmother very fast, that is smart because what if it was the worst, as like she said.
“I thought she was gonna die that same night, but she didn’t die, so my hope came through, and um . . . that’s mostly all.” What a precious bug. I love the kid callers on this show.

Several years ago, I started having gallbladder attacks and it was very scary because it was extremely painful, so I understand what this woman was going through. Originally, the doctors thought it was my heart or a hernia, but an ultrasound revealed it was gallstones and one escaped into my pancreas causing pancreatitis which was causing the chest pains. Thank God I had the surgery to remove my gallbladder. I am much better now.
Me too. Can't watch them when people are around. I'm a combat veteran as well as having been a firefighter/emt then deputy sheriff over the last 20 years.
Depending on the child, most will cry pretty loudly and panic on the phone, she kept it cool and calm and unlocked the door, I'm really proud of her, what a hero she is, I am very proud of her, awesome job and she saved her own mom's life, completely amazing
What a brave and smart young child to call for help she and the dispatcher and paramedics deserve alot of credit your service to everyone even on rescue 911your show rocks thanks job well done you should be proud ! Joe
I absolutely love this show. My mom & I used to watch this show together all the time when I was a kid. lol. They really teach some medical information that's completely useful. Whether people agree or not.
Josie O'Brien tgis is true my sister was choking once on a jolly rancher and aince i watched a rescue 911 episode about a toddler choking on a peanut and showed how to help i finally took it out and hugged her so tight and said i love you over and over
My dad is a Vietnam war vet and the toughest guy I've ever known. Out of any illnesses and injuries I've only seen him go down twice. Once for quadruple bypass and when I was a kid for a gallbladder.
They’re REALLY scary to watch. My mom had well over 10 before she could get it removed and I remember the panic she was in, the panic everyone was in when the pain got up her chest and she was too dizzy to even sit. Terrifying at any age. Like goddamn it has the word “attack” in it.
They should reboot Rescue 911. It was a very educational show to teach people what to do in medical emergencies and it even taught kids to call 911 if there is an emergency.
Ugh, gallbladder attacks. Worst possible pain in my life. You can't breathe right, it feels like something is both stabbing you and trying to get out of you. Your muscles seize and you have trouble moving. You wrench weather your stomach is empty or not. But worst is there is no time limit on the pain. For me it could last for hours. Blah! Even after all these years, it still fresh in my mind.
It’s been 30 years since this happened so Stephanie is 35 now. Her sister’s name is Lindsay April and she is 30. I suppose they’re both married with children. I’m sure in Mary Jane’s heart there will always be a place for Stephanie. I felt sorry for Mary Jane because I thought she wouldn’t make it but thank goodness she did. This happened on a Monday. Stephanie did a good job for a five-year-old. 10 years ago I commented on “20 years of passed since this happened so Stephanie is now 25”. The dispatcher Ken Serwatowski tried to calm Stephanie down because she was a bit hysterical and Lindsay April was crying. I’m sure Stephanie can never thank the rescuers and the dispatcher enough for helping her to help save her mother’s life. Sometimes I wonder what life would’ve been like if I had to call 911 at a young age like five or something.
I know some people are gonna be like "oh well it couldn't be that bad the mom overreacted", but to them, let me learn you a thing. Gallbladder problems are incredibly serious, and since it kinda connects your liver and your intestines, you can see why it's really bad when it has problems. I had mine removed at 18 because it failed. I had been having issues with it since as early as age 10-12. At 12, when I had to get an endoscopy to figure out what was wrong with my stomach, my grandma (who had similar problems when her gallbladder got messed up) asked them to check mine. They blew her off because I was "way too young for that". I have a family history of the ladies on my mom's side have bad gallbladders, and my mom is one of them too. So I had to suffer for I'm not sure how many years before it just completely quit working and I had to have it removed. It's been about two and a half years since I had it removed, and I'm STILL having issues. I had to go the ER at least TWICE while waiting for my surgery because of the pain, and I was so nauseous that I couldn't eat. I had to wait like two months for surgery, and it was spent nauseous, starving, and in pain. The pain from a gallbladder attack can feel similar to a GUNSHOT. Now that you know, please don't be a jackass
on of, my aide she was alrice to bees and thre was bee in the classroom and I said dont go intonthe class room because thre was a bee and if I didn't say anything she would be in the hospital
Poor mother and baby! When the baby was crying the message went to the mother's brain that told her to pick up her baby but because of her pain she couldn't because the message from her brain couldn't go to her arms and legs! Lucky she had her daughter with her or it would have been awful! :(
Megan Hicks As I noticed that Stephanie's mother wasn't wearing a wedding ring, I say your hypothesis is correct; she probably was single (or maybe, Stephanie doesn't have a father).
My mom still refuses to remove hers and I’ve been warning her about it from 2015 and 2016 and the doctors in Arizona told her in 2014 about it too and she still won’t listen
God bless Stephanie for calling 911 when her mother was in pain. Glad the doctors found out that her mother had a gall bladder attack.
