The families of the bride and groom, erect a bamboo pole at the entrance of their house and offer prayers to GOD for a peaceful, and happy wedding. This is done mainly to ensure that the wedding preparations proceed as planned. It is also for letting the world know that the family is holding a wonderful wedding in place)
