@@flowy3422 so i watched it again and the conclusion is that it's not about comms. we see draven and rell flash in the earlier play at 0:40 leaving them pretty defenseless. a flash W engage from rakan or reksai W is a pretty expected play considering those summ cooldowns. with or without comms, this is a pretty standard punish. lack of comms shouldn't be a reason for wasting a core spell on xayah's kit when his team is showing clear intentions to engage on another rewatch at 0:55, the cannon minion was going to die so doublelift thought he could initiate on the draven himself for his team while draven commits the auto to cs the cannon but he clearly didn't fall for it. so the Q makes sense considering the cannon minion bait. an absolutely okay play to make even though it didn't work out. (i initially thought he just used it to farm ranged/pahtetically poke draven which is why I was so confused). but do not defend the misplay with no comms logic. lack of comms is indeed a reason why some plays go bad but you can't justify any player wasting a core ability right before a pretty standard flashless enemy gank. comms being a valid excuse would be to say "why did rakan flash W when doublelift clearly wasted his opportunity to follow up with Q" and then saying "well they didn't see that because of no comms" now that's fine. not realizing the xayah already wasted Q and overcommiting the flash W. comms would definitely be helpful here. but I think not being able to calculate that there is no longer enough damage from xayah to kill even after committing flash W due to lack of comms is a WAY more reasonable mistake than a xayah not being able to calculate that she needs to hold her Q / E for a gank that is coming from two flash teammates against two flashless teammates due to lack of comms. (which again isn't what I'm saying doublelift did. he understood that a gank for a flashless bot lane was coming and had his own logic for trying to Q E the draven with the cannon. but lack of comms shouldn't be the reasoning here when the gank is pretty expected and high probability)
