I've been looking to tune my Mazda 3's. I have 2 an 05 and an 06. Both are 2.5l swapped. I have a link where you can purchase the license and download the software. The only other thing you'll need is someone who knows how to use the software and a dyno and the tactrix openport 2.0. Here is the link for the software and license key. @@ionutolteanu5541no, they also sell the “de-limited” version with the same engine at 150HP, and it’s 1000 euros extra. Still, I think chip-tuning it is cheaper, 200-300 euros, but you lose the warranty
I got a mazda 3 sport sedan. I want to put turbo on it is it worth it? What's the best to get hp out the 2.0 skyactiv motor
I don't think you can turbo it. The compression is way too high. Intake, exhaust, ecu remap, weight reduction. That's all you can do about it.

theres a few people running FI.
VT Racing has a twin screw supercharger available for us in both the 2.0 and 2.5L models if the Mz3
as far as the 2.0L getting FI in general, look at the MX5's that are running the skyactive-G motor (litterally the same as us) running boost and supers. just no readymade kits are available.
as for the other dude.
Best mods you can do if you don't know what a ecu is, spend that money on a some gas, brake pads and new fluids. take the car out to a track day and get to know what everything does.
Just get the mazda 3 turbo model.

Its great, It keeps going and going. No more rev limiter, It just a little bit slower then abarth but not much :) If you lose some weight and put all accesoires off, no lane abs lane control you can have same abarth speed but abarth is lighter soo.. "120hp -> 194hp 2015 skyactiv g He sayd i can have +200 hp if i put remus exhaust under it and more better noise. But thats stage 2...
@@Coladudetje maybe a "stupid" question since I get the idea that you did it for pure performance gain, but how did in influence fuel consumption?
@@Markuden Its like 7.7 liters / 100 km pretty good if u know most tuned cars get 12l/100 km but if u drive slowly u can still maintain the 4.6 liter/100 km as advertised. Also the tuner sayd exhaust emission Stay the same.
The 120hp engine is actually 160hp engine but limited and the 160hp engine already is 170hp stock often...
@@Coladudetje So not really improvement on fuel efficienty? But mostly on power. I live in the netherlands and we have a youtube car channel and they put a skyactive G on the dyno. They said it was about 140hp stock and there is more power but its limited by mazda. They said it probably has around 160-180hp, so thats about the same as your experience.
I've seen a few dyno runs here on youtube with the Mazda3 Skyactiv-g 120, and they all show around 135 hp in "standard tune". I maybe wrong but does it mean the 120 hp version actually has 15 hp more that stated from factory, or is the 135 hp a part of the tuning process?
MiniLST from what I have seen the 120 bhp version tends to score around 140 in measurements. Vw does this all the time with their cars. Their cars tend to score 10% more in tests compared to power on paper.
The 120hp version is underrated. In reality, it makes around 135-140hp. And it's limited by software to that. You can see that after 4000rpm, it hits the software limiter, which decreases the torque while keeping the power figure level
That's what I thought. I just got the 2017 - 120 hp version. Great fun to drive. I initially wanted the 165 hp version, but it is not in sale in my country, and if it was it would cost a fortune.
MiniLST if you find proper place you should be able to unlock limiter and basically get 165 bhp version. I read that 120 manual gearbox has longer shifts so in reality it is more comfortable to drive than 165 gearbox. After unlocking you can hit 100 kmh on 2 Nd shift which is impressive too
Yes I've been looking into it. It's very tempting, but I'm a little concerned about the loss of warranty if detected. I know lots of car owners do it with no problem though..
