I love how the song starts and ends with the same "Uh!" which is also played just as the chorus ends on the line "...the sands of your glass are running out". Great cyclical imagery there, Trent!
Absolutely in love with the key change in the bridge and the boost of intensity and crescendo brought on by that distorted guitar. Really takes us out of the "classic Kainalu" melodic structure we've been blessed to discover in the last two albums. I've got a feeling this next album explores a bit more sounds and productions tricks revolving around the bridges of your songs. Its a great move for an evolving artist. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you! Keep it up!

“We’re you someone your mother was proud of?” His lyrics are very powerful in this track. I felt it so much in the bridge. To me, it’s Almost like it’s a person is at the end, and death is asking the person if they did everything they were supposed/wanted to do in life. Equally haunting and inspiring. The distorted guitar coming in as it swelled and Kainalu is singing and climbing up with those beautiful notes. It’s too much for me. I’m in love with this and all of Kainalu’s tracks have hit me in a special place. He’s got amazing talent. The bass lines are always iconic and his drums are perfect. I’ve also recently noticed he knows exactly when to ease up on the amazing drum patterns and let the bass line carry the flow of the song like in Queen of wands. The bass line has been stuck in my head since I first heard it. Kainalu deserves 1000X more numbers than he has now. I can tell he puts hard work into every measure.
