52-year-old Pastor Oral 'Bishop' Britton is accused of raping several church sisters. His ex-wife has been speaking out in support of the women who have come forth to share how he has sexually assaulted them.
She shares from her perspective what she saw and knows about her ex-husband. He has manipulated her and so many other women. As if it cannot get any worst, his abusive actions have even affected her own home.
Her sharing is inline with what every pastors wife should know and it does not have to be infidelity, but just some common clergyman wife issues.

There is such a thing as righteous judgment 💎John 7:24. Calling out sinful acts and behaviors….speaking out about sin is not being judgmental. We are required to do that as long as it is being done in a loving and respectful manner. This is a church, like many of the churches, where Satan the Devil has been allowed to infiltrate and take up residence. Satan has blinded the heart and minds of the congregants as well. This is to be expected when the leader is controlled and is teaching and preaching to them. Almighty God and Jesus is no where near these “Synagogues of Satan”. Light and darkness cannot co-exist.
In the church, they have the wrong concept. The Bible talk about the man is head of the house. That's all these men in church need to know. It's not with the pastors only. It happens with the male members. They are a bunch of abusers. Some of the pastors know what's going on. They put on blind folders
She is an over comer!!! She is a good woman and he took disadvantage of her. She is strong, intelligent, and a very private person, one thing I could not wrap my head around is when the man pounce on her daughter and pin her to the ground, Honey Chile that pot on the stove would be on top of his head in a hot second.first lady or noh First Lady house would mash up that very day.

I can't get my head around this part either, but then it's clear that she herself was a victim I believe. I'm so sorry her daughter had to endure such "stench".
I can safely say I had 2 narrow escapes as a young girl in church from leaders and heard of many others who were not so lucky and those men were never called out and only heaven and the hurted or hurting knows if it is still happening.

My mother is in her 70s. She was rape at 15 years old. I am 55 years am was told the pain my mother went through. People in the church knew he rape my mother. Myself feel like a mess. Because the big bishop was my father and I never experienced a father. My mother knew his wife knew what she been through.
I and my mother are still in pain.

Her first husband was a good man. She married him after knowing him for just a month. He was jealous because she cheated. Separated from him 3 times for different men before they got divorced. Was entertaining the bishop while she was still married to her first husband. Slept with Bishop before they got married. Married Bishop within a year of meeting him. Confided in her first husband when things with her second husband was starting to go public. Was in a new relationship like 8 months after divorcing the Bishop. But i guess she forgot to mention all of that. This didn't happen because the man is just evil. It happened because she put men and her desires before her children. She chose to be naive so take you share of the blame miss. Her daughter said she didn't want to say anything about the assault because she didn't want to seem like she was trying to sabotage her mom's relationship. Now she has her girls in the same position again, under the same roof with a new man. But hey it is a one sided narrative so she can paint herself has victim when in reality she is a woman scorned who is angry that she couldn't change the bad boy pastor hence vengeance is disguised as spreading awareness.

Many fathers are worthless, and to this day, I forgive my father but despise the man even more after watching this interview.
My father married a woman who has three sons. The youngest son was living with her in the house that my father and mother bought together. Because she was trusting, my mother allowed my father to buy the house in his name only, and because they are coming from the ghetto of Jones Town, Kingston 12, and having children, he would be the decent and honest man.
Anyway, my father and mother part because of their differences and his behavior.
My father got married to a woman we did not know, and his children were the only ones missing from his wedding. My father hid and married a woman who had three sons.
One of her sons was a good man, but the last one was a liar from the get-go, and my father beat me for that boy who lied but later on apologized to me.
My stepmother is the epitome of evil, also my father, whom I called a worthless man!
In the 1990s, I was a police officer (Detective Constable) stationed at Hunts Bay Police Station, Kingston 11.
My stepbrother tried to RAPE my little sister, and my evil father covered it up, and when I found out, she did not want to report the case of “Assault with Intent to Rape.
My father is the person who has helped to protect this man who is a member of the Jamaican Constabulary Force and is a Sergeant of Police. If my father was a good man, this man could not become a member of the police force because he's a predator and a rapist.
I talked to my sister the other day, who told me that our stepbrother “Marlon Tate” raped his cousin in my father's house and his mother (my father's wife) paid the young woman to keep quiet about the matter.
I am the kind of man who does not do anything for people to like me, but when I watched this interview, my blood pressure skyrocketed.
My father couldn't come around my family because he was not a protector of his children.
Anytime a girl's behavior changes, try and find out what is going on with the girls.
If anyone violates any of my children, it is death before dishonor.
A lot of young people are molested in Jamaica.
I had a babymother from Waterford, St. Catherine and her grandfather used to molest her mother. His daughter, and when she died, the daughter, the father, could not attend the funeral.
Later on, I understood that the Grandfather was having sexual intercourse with all of his granddaughters, and the others in the family knew about it and said nothing.
A lot of nastiness and Dutty touching is happening in Jamaica in some families, and the perpetrators are getting away with their crimes.
I had a friend who passed away, and one of his sisters told me that he used to molest her from she was a little girl. I have no reason to doubt her. I haven't spoken to her for many years because her husband is super jealous and insecure. It was by chance I went to a museum where one of the children drawing was on display, and the school sold it. I saw her.
I applaud Caroline, but as a man, women know when we are lying to our women because they are sensitive to intimacy.
I wish her and her children all the best and the Dutty Bishop torture for robbing the young woman of her life.
This is one of the resson its not even healthy talking about your past to some type of people because they regularly threw them back in your face

That's the reason people should stop going to church leaders with martial problems. They are not qualify to help. A trained psychiatrist is what they should seek out.
She didn't know she would end up being his wife. It's possible because he knew so much about her he choose her plus she had daughters that he wanted to molest. He's calculated. She's a victim too.

People who was my fathers friend, started telling her that her husband didn't know what a good wife he had. They wanted to date her. My mother told us and them that she has children girls and boys and no man gonna come in her house and tell her they love her, while he is watching her children. My mother never remarry and had no relationship. She raised all her eight children alone.
The disrespect she endured is unfathomable. Thank God there are still a few good/great men of God living the Godly way.

So when women say they are looking for a Godly man. What does that mean? It usually means a man who open and lock church and is validated by some other "superior" leader. Godliness has more to do with general behavior in all spheres of life. What say ye?

That’s how people become idol worshippers - why do you have to stand for a man each time he shows up, and why would a true man of God not participate in the worship? All red flags ..
Eye openers sista. Many of us practiced these things in honor of our pastors, but not realising the deeper essence of what we were actually doing.
I experience "dutty touch" in the church while growing up in Jamaica. I was a child and he was a deacon, I believe. I am not one to give up easily, even as a child. I fought him that day believe me. He was big and strong and at one point I felt weak after my head hit the wall. My hair was a mess, I could taste blood from my lip, the buttons at the top of my dress became undone. I had gone into the church bathroom. It was a single men's bathroom just like the ladies. The ladies was broken so we were all using the men's.
He saw me leaving the church to go outside. I did not know he followed me. I opened the door and before I could lock it he was inside locked the door and pinned me down. He tried to get his hand into my underwear. He was grabbing at my breast (I was wearing training bras). I remember being so afraid that I thought I was going to die. I was screaming but church was so loud that no one could hear me unless they were passing by the bathroom door. Where the bathroom is located almost everyone on one side of the church could see all who entered and exited that bathroom. I was able at one point to kick him really hard in his private and he fell back on the sink which was shaky and he grabbed it. I tried to run pass him out the door but he pushed me back. I stood there ready to fight again if he tried to touch me. He looked at me, threatened me not to tell and went out the door.
I locked the door and I regained my composure, fix myself, used the bathroom, washed my hands and face and went out the bathroom. As I walked in the church my eyes caught the gaze of one of the ladies in church and I saw the way in which she looked at me. Her gaze was on me since I left the bathroom. To this day I believe she saw him go in after me and she did nothing about it. She made me feel like I deserved it. I was merely a tween.
I did not know any adult who loved me enough to care and that I trusted to confide in. I was close friends with one of the pastors sons and I told him and begged him not to say anything. I was afraid and did not know what to do. My mom was abroad I was not close to the eldest person we lived with. She hated me and I knew she would accuse me or say that I was lying. From that day I stayed away from him and avoided him at all cost. He still kept coming after me but my pastors son would almost always be there and he would come close so the pedophile would walk away. I stopped going to church just a few years later.
Fast forward many years later just a few years ago there was a newspaper article about him raping an 11 year old girl and the mom had him charged. His sister called me and as we spoke she told me about it and said they were lying on her brother, he is a man of God and he would never do that. She was so upset. She was fasting and praying for all charges to be dropped. I do not know what became of his case. I was in my forties when this happened so he never stopped.
Ms. Maureen I read your story and I too felt your pain. When things like these happen, it is not only difficult to face the situation itself but in addition more difficult to face those looking on ready to condemn you instead of the perpetrators. People who are jealous of you what you have evolved to become amidst the odds...will use the platform too to try and tear you down instead off bracing you up. Nevertheless I stand with you for the bravery of speaking out. I will continue to pray for you that the God who HEALS...will touch you from the inside and heal all those hurt and pain. Hang in there...you have helped someone with your honesty be strong you are not alone.
@@carolinebryan7254 Am I missing something.Who condemned her You mean the one person who saw her coming from the bathroom after looking disheveled and staying longer than usual? Maybe her look was more of concern than scorn and maybe was hoping she was brave enough to come over and say something to her. Ofcourse she could also be looking at her with disdain but how sure could she be sure if she hadn't spoken to her. The fact is that many young people did not feel comfortable taking to anyone about these abuse cases so how can we blame anyone if we don't tell them, unless ofcourse he was a known pedofiler amongst the church members and this lady and somehow did not question her after seeing her coming out the bathroom after the pastor.
Sorry for what you went through and glad you were brave enough to fight off that dirty man. I fully understand why you didn't feel comfortable and safe to say anything that time and throughout the years but I'm wondering why you didn't say anything to the person who was swearing for him when she called you and told you and saying he was not guilty. I found that part astounding after knowing what he did to you. I remember I had a similar situation where I had to speak out and promptly did so. My niece was innapropreatly touched by friend of the family when he was in his teens. He later molested his own daughter who told the principal at her school. When his friend called me saying he didn't believe it I promptly told him I believed every word and told him what happened to my niece. Please be brave and ready to call out these people whenever the opportunity arises.

He said to the children, there is only one parent and that parent is him. Even though the mother is in the house with them all their lives, they took his words as that. Him being a Bishop might have clouded her judgment plus the Bishop is calculated and manipulative. Men like that will use God to justified it. He might have said God wanted her out so he led her to him. His objective was her daughters.
If you ever listen to molesters on Oprah Show they all say the same thing. They choose vulnerable women with children. They are predators. A country girl would not be savvy to the serpent.
Also, why was this minister got divorced? Red flag?
Queen Steph getting married so soon do not have anything to do with a marriage success, there a persons who got married within three months and being together for over 50 years and still going strong. It's all about these monsters that are hiding in sheep closing. That is why we just need to learn from these many stories, and soend time doing our research and do not ignore those red flags when we see them. She mentioned she saw the ladies coming over, but thought once she gets married to him it would change.
Ministers are not perfect. They don't have the answers to make a marriage work. It takes 2 to make it work and 1 to break it up.

As a full disclosure, I knew Caroline many years ago, as a person who was always nice and pleasant. I can only speak of who I knew then, and what I can get from this situation now, and not cast aspersions about her through hearsay. It sounds to me that Britton preyed on Caroline's marital insecurities, where he took full advantage of her vulnerabilities, she fell for it, and it completely ruined any chance of salvaging her first marriage; only then for Britton then to mess her and her daughter up as he turned out to be much much worse apparently than her 1st husband. It is a sad sad state of affairs.

I’m confused…God told her exactly when to head back to the house to see the young lady leaving the house early in the morning. Lots of fasting and prayer and no revelation from God that this man was sexually abusing her daughter. No revelation from God before the marriage that this man is not what he professed to be and that he would be worse if not as bad as the first husband. I’m not judging I’m just wondering🤔 are we adding God in the equation when it suits us…..as a child advocate, My heart ache for the children who are left shattered in a million pieces through no fault of their own. I hope they get the therapy that they will need from a qualified therapist. Always believe people when they show you who they are….one last note, nothing like a woman’s intuition 💯

Lots of lessons to learn
Her first husband was a good man. She married him after knowing him for just a month. He was jealous because she cheated. Separated from him 3 times for different men before they got divorced. Was entertaining the bishop while she was still married to her first husband. Slept with Bishop before they got married. Married Bishop within a year of meeting him. Confided in her first husband when things with her second husband was starting to go public. Was in a new relationship like 8 months after divorcing the Bishop. But i guess she forgot to mention all of that. This didn't happen because the man is just evil. It happened because she put men and her desires before her children. She chose to be naive so take you share of the blame miss. Her daughter said she didn't want to say anything about the assault because she didn't want to seem like she was trying to sabotage her mom's relationship. Now she has her girls in the same position again, under the same roof with a new man. But hey it is a one sided narrative so she can paint herself has victim when in reality she is a woman scorned who is angry that she couldn't change the bad boy pastor hence vengeance is disguised as spreading awareness.
