I Love crushing those rocks! Let me say that the video I did with you FGW smooth water header box was so fun, also I have had at least 20 people ask me how to get one and I’ve sent them all to you except for the 6” I gave away during our live Thursday night. So I’m hoping all those people have gotten in touch with you and placed orders In which I will be doing again soon. I’m gonna get an 8” this time lol. I’m also taking it to the fall rendezvous in coos canyon . You and Wes hit it out of the park brother. Thanks again for all your videos and friendship you are AUsome. 👍😎🎩⚒️G.P.
I really appreciate you sir … btw i enjoy your vids too ✅✅✅✅
It’s about having fun. The true gold is in the community you’ve created. Glad to be on board…. Even if you’re across the river in Wisconsin.
Thanks neighbor!
I don't know if you've heard this Jason but if you take your court simple and put it in a fire get it growing hot and then dump water on it it will fracture all that quarts up and make it easier for you to put it through your mill as well
Rocks can explode doing tht word of caution
Tommyknockers !
I put my quartz ore in the oven, set the oven as hot as it will go, my electric stove goes up to 525 degrees. I bake it for several hours. Then it breaks much easier. Less wear on my homemade Hammer Mill. Which I made from a brush shredder, wood chipper, Jason I thought you were getting a bigger Hammer Mill.
@@rick9297 im looking at one, I won’t pull the trigger on it until i know im on something worth the $1800 ✅
@@FlourgoldWizards Jason why don't you make your own. I bought mine for I think it was $175 bucks. There is a unit one in the same on Facebook marketplace they want $250 for it. I'm moving West closer to better gold. I may consider selling mine. Once I get out west I can build another one.
Great fun indeed Jason 👌👍👍 That stuff is probably sulfides , but there does look like gold in it for sure . The vein may not carry gold all the way along its length , it might be more concentrated in places , but the quartz sure does look mineralized . Great Adventure finding that vein , keep at it Buddy 👍. Cheers Nev✌ OHH PS i sent you a package yesterday , you may receive it in 10 days or sooner . Cheers matey 👍
Package aye? 😃👍🏻
I hope to explore that vein soon !
On another note, my parcel which consists of a micro sluice an bags of paydirt has made it to the UK in only 4 days, very impressive Mr Wizard !, its on the delivery van today, EEEEEEK!
I am literally shaking with excitement here !
Awesome!!!!!
Always love Flour Gold Wizard's content presented by Jason narrating, advisin' us and joking around gold prospecting. ❤
Glad you enjoy it!
love seeing a hypothermic vein from the earth's surface. Best hobby I love. Searching Colorado all the time. Love you channel.
Awesome! Thank you!
There's a fissure in Freedom Wisconsin, it's called the Phoenix fissure. It has silver. The only catches are that the mining rights belong to a Chicago railroad company and it's on the Oneida Indian reservation.
Some big obstacles!!
It's in there. Deeper the better. Sounds like something she would say though😂❤🎉🎉❤
😯
A rock assay is less than $50 for gold. It would be really interesting to see the concentration of gold in there. Super cool discovery!
Good idea !
Flour Gold Rock Crushers!...Hard work! No pun intended...
Keep on rockin' Jason!
COBBLES...🍻
AFNB...🍺🍻🍺
Rock on! Cobbles and AFNB 🇺🇸
You should ask Jason from MBMM LLC to take a look at it. Be a good collab
Maybe!
Excellent find stumbling around. Benefit of cobbles and luck.
Wobblepops 💥🍻✅✅✅
Keeping an eye out for ones surroundings leads to amazing finds! Keep it up Jason!
The magnetic pieces in your pan are probably the shackles wearing down in your mighty mill. I have had mine for about 5 years and I have had to replace the shackles twice. See if you can find some hardened steel ones, they last a lot longer if you are going to use it a lot. Not a lot of gold, but thats why we sample everything. Keep on mining. Rockmaster61.
It’s definitely a handy tool !
I’ve always been wanting to get one of those mini mills. I’m always thinking I’m walking over more gold locked up in the rocks than I’m finding in the alluvial soil. I haven’t caught many of your videos lately. I’m gonna have to go back and catch up. I was told last year about a reef being Found in mid central or maybe a little higher up Central Wisconsin. Maybe your vein is a stringer off of that. Took a trip over to Indiana last weekend. Didn’t get a real good sample taken but I did find a few nice chunky flakes Of gold. It’s funny how when some places are closed down new opportunities present themselves. Thanks for giving us all a look into what it takes for hard rock mining.
It sure seems like tons of work but once in awhile it’s something different!
The gold typically gets better the further down into the vein you go... To a point and then the trend tends to reverse.
Noted ✅😃
You’re having fun! That’s all that matters. And it’s fun for me to watch ya! Keep it up, who knows what you might discover while you’re having fun.
Very true!
Maybe you can collaborate with mount baker mining and metals he is set up to do large scale hard rock testing. Love your channel keep up the great "work". Keep the gold and cobbbles flowing.
That would be cool!
Interestingly in the area you goof off at there is known gold bearing veins. Pretty cool you found one could lead to something great! Can you claim it?
Remember with exposed quartz veins the upper some odd feet will have been leached out by rain/elements over time. Many of the miners around our pocket areas ( Southern, Oregon) would dig/mine some odd feet down before using the samples to determine values.
I hope to get down that far !
If I were you, I would go back and take more of that quartz vein. You don’t know what you’ll run into. You might run into a vein that has a lot of gold into it. I think it would be worth doing. Good luck.
I’ll keep exploring 😃✅🍻
Thats a nice wee little machine you got there I love the motor 😂 sound job man
Thanks 👍
Mighty mill doesn’t mess around! 🍻
Nope !Poof …..powder 👍🏻🍻
I’d say it looks like gold to me. Good stuff. That’s material does look nice. Never knew a quartz vein in Wisconsin would have gold in it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks 👍
I'm finding quartz veins where i live...some places are extremely sketchy terrain, that's an understatement. It's not a geologically producing area but i am still so curious. I have found a couple micro flours in the creeks bellow after many prospecting ventures. I've collected float and traced to some of the source to the hundred foot cliffs way way above. I need to get a little mill like jason because i have like 20 sample piles i need to run lol. Jason, if you read this, you happy with the mighty mill? Or do you have other ideas?
@@walkers its pretty good for small samples but if you put a cheap grinder on it or overload the hopper the grinder burns up quickly 🍻👍🏻
For me for the hard rock material a brand new pan works better and just a tiny bit of material at a time and about as much water. Hold the pan like a steering wheel and jiggle it so the material settles into the bottom, then rock the water back and forth over the material like you're swerving the wheel left and right, then slowly keep turning the pan in on direction while swishing Then the gold should start pilling up in the opposite corner, then you just snuffer that up and keep at it. Thats my two cents if it makes sense lmao.
I’ll take those 2 cents 👍🏻✅✅✅
That magnetic stuff looks like parts from your dust maker. Most times if it magnetite it would be black. That gold stuff In your pan does look like gold. You do have to be careful running that stuff over a sluice though. The gold tends to get round from the dust maker and it can roll right down your sluice. I would recommend a 2 1/2 - 3 degree angle on the sluice. Other then that welcome to the dark side 😅
The dark side is hard work! 🤣✅🍻
Great episode and no driving! It looked like gold in with the magnetics.... maybe. Im anxious to see where this goes 🍻👍. Watched the intro 3 times😂 tell giggles I said thppt!
I’ve been told deeper is better so we’ll see aye ! Giggles like being on the vids 🤣🤣🤣🤣🍻
Gold is Gold. Follow the quartz ⛏️
✅✅✅
Man, when you said you were going to put the quartz through your system I was super relieved to see you had a rock crusher and weren't going to eat the stuff :) .... A lot of those pieces look like hard rock gold to me pal!, either way you got to play with your toys and that makes for a great day any day!
Not one tooth was cracked in the making of this video 💥🤣
@@AllThingsCountry74 lol hahah dang..
Great video. Thanks for sharing Jason👍
Thanks for watching!
Love the masonry safety squint sent from a seattle mason
Seems to work..🤣🍻✅
Hey now you can add experienced hard rock miner to your resume.😂😂 always a fun watch, cheers.
I wouldn’t say experienced but exposed 🤣🤣✅
Always enjoy your videos. Like the open space you have on you're property. Have you considered Paramotoring / Powered paragliding. You have the perfect spot for it.
I really enjoy the ground 🤣✅
I'd recommend getting a professional assay of that material. That way you will know all the metals that are in it. Could be something rare in there like Lithium
I plan on it 😃✅
Glad to see you are getting some use out of your mill Jason :-) I suggest trying to get some samples from about 3'-6' below the surface, it will be much better ore and will give you a better idea of the quality of that vein... looks good now, but lower samples are better!
Absolutely! I thank you again for sending it !! I hope to make it back there soon !
I see a lot of quartz out here that looks just like yours did, and I'm kicking myself is the A for not crushing it and checking it... You've inspired me to start checking mine out here lol. Good video Jason
I bet yours has great potential!
Right on Jason. Great job as always. I have some hard rock I need to crush up as well. It might have some shiny in it.
Film it ! 😃✅
I see a few comments about what the metallic material could be but I like the ones that recommend getting a professional assay.
Agreed ✅
Awesome new video wizard. Already learned something new. That comes apart rather easy.
It was really brittle!
It's either mineral Betsy translucent. Or iridescent, put a black light to it. Watch It close. It's like a regular little glower. It's pretty cool, really. That's what that solar stuff is going around. It's common in northwoods, and especially around, then quartz
Im trying that today 😃✅
That was great fun, Jason! Even if there ain't enough there to mess with, I had fun watching, and it looked like you did, too! I call that a win! 🙂
Agree! It’s all about the fun 🍻✅
I do like your videos for sure!! It would be a shame though if good old Rigby has to go to school to be Dads Seeing eye dog because Dad didn't wear his safety glasses while busting up that rock! Sorry I was a safety guy at work. looking forward more good times with the dogs.
The safety guys are always everyone’s favorite at work 🤣✅
Didn't know you lived on a golf course fam! Your backyard is at least what, Par 4? Niiiice! 👍
Par 5 !! 🤣✅
Jason get a Fence post driver from Tractor Supply put your big rocks in it and use a big shaft to make small rocks ! Your fingers will be safer! Thats the inside of your MILL
Gotcha !
Guess you could load some up for winter. I'd imagine that little mill makes some noise though. Whenever I mix thinset or cement I use one of those commercial fans you have in your garage to blow the dust away on calm days. Being a mason I'm sure you get your fair share of silica.
My lungs are a silica storage facility after 35 years of masonry 🤣✅
Hey that Jason. We will be going back up NORTH. to check out some of the inland streams and ... Panning only on the beach this year. but we will be there form 20-27.Take care. and as always, Good video I do enjoy your work. Keep it up. ;-)
I will also be there, 25-27 ✅
Thanks for sharing this video with us! I found it very educational, never mind that there was no gold. At least not much. There is a mineral called PYRITE, which may fool you because it is also yellow, but I'm sure you know it. Nevermind, glad for the video! Nice hat and glasses! 😎🤠
Glad you enjoyed it! 😃🎩
Well it was great to see what was in that material. There was some gold in there small for sure but there was gold.
You got that right!
Cool 😎 video. If not enough breeze you can also use a fan.😊
Great tip!
Sure looks like gold. Ive crushed some juicy stuff before. But i always come up empty handed. Most the hard rock gold in my area is locked up in sulfides so i can never tell. Great job brother
I doubt hard rock around here would be full time either…🍻🤣
Hey Jason, if you are going to go with hard rock mining, I would recommend making a dolly pot. You take about 8-12 inches of metal sewer pipe and weld a metal plate to one end. That's your pot. Then you attach a sledge hammer head, or any heavy metal weight, to to a metal rod. That's your hammer. Now put your ore in the pot and start smashing it with your hammer. You classify the contents and then put the bigs back in the pot. This will take no time to process buckets of ore.
Excellent advice!
That's cool thank you Jason
Anytime ✅🍻😃
I'm just an old hillbilly out in the woods, but I suspect a hematite-magnetite morph mineral could be the silvery magnetic stuff you are getting. You could try taking that stuff and letting it set (well ventilated) in some hot nitric acid for a bit, and see if it dissolves. Any gold you have in there shouldn't be soluble in nitric alone, meaning you could just run the solution through a filter and separate the gold.
Thanks for the advice!
Very cool! I'm excited to find out what the magnetic stuff was! Great video as always.
You and me both!
Well done Jason.
Thanks Kieth 👍🏻
Most probably the stuff that is magnetic is iron pirate which is associated with gold veins and as other suggested sulfides. If you have enough of that maybe you can roast it for Gold.
Sounds reasonable 😃👍🏻✅
Yellow gold. Keep hunting.
Will do!
Awesome ! I've been wondering about your discovery and am happy about your discovery, how exciting it's not as it happens every prospecting outing.
I was hoping for the mother lode announcement, there is still a chance further in the orebody.
You need more iron to crush more ore. Thank you for the exciting update.
Bigger is better 😃✅
Another great video, another cobble earned. Well done! Give the pack a good ear rubbin
Will do ! 🐕🦺🐕🐺✅
Enjoyed the video Flour gold Wizards and I hope you enjoy your summer of 2024 gold mining season! Cheers!
Thanks, you too!
It's always fun to watch you try something different. Keep having fun and taking us along.
Thank you!😊
Liked, shared and commented. We all like stuff to do on inclement days. Like when it pours or drops below 0. And rocks store pretty easy. And if u put some thought into keeping em stored dry, they won’t freeze n lock up together in winter. 🤴🏻🗽🍻 17:19
Stays nice in the shop all year 😃👍🏻✅🍻
Watched a review of your product, hope no one saw it. He had no speed controller and then complained it didn't work. Great channel, great job. Cobbles
May I ask who ?
Lol, straight garden hose probably
Still a great day. I think our Shiney silver looking stuff is platinum. Hard as sin to separate it from the flower gold.
You got that right!
It could be worth shooting your mat with plasti dip or flex seal to for more friction. Just a thought
Maybe!
That Mighty Mill seems to work just fine.
For real small samples….
Yes, but in many cases that is what you need.
Really cool video and way to process the gold 😎👍
Thank you!
Looks like mica which can be magnetic ! Under the microscope I agree it looks like some of it is gold.
Exciting nonetheless 😃🍻👍🏻
Good times video , its been 110 temp for the last 3 days only 102 today with 3 % humidity stay safe TANK
That’s unlivable!!! 🥵🥵🤣✅👍🏻
Great job indeed fam. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Thanks Jason!
cool process jason.
Thanks David 😃✅
Es hermoso gracias por compartir tu experiencia
It’s our pleasure 😃🐺
Excellent sharing of your passion FGW 👊✌️🇺🇸😆⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️
Thanks Kirk 🍻
There is a idea I have it may sound off the cuff but here is my idea is the area rich in platinum group metals. There are some that are magnetic and are silver in color take a sample use a crucible and see if you can melt it into a bead if it will the bead will be bright shiny and silver also heavier than gold. I do have a friend who can also run a chemical breakdown of the material and refine it if it is what I think it is I'm crossing my fingers try a scratch test see if it tests for platinum
It should be easy enough 😃✅
Galena is silver colored and magnetic. It is a sulphide and often found in quartz. Galena is a lead-iron ore, which would make sense that it is caught in the heavies and the iron content explains the rust color on the quartz sample.
Galena is not normally magnetic. Also Galena is a lead-sulfide ore, with the chemical symbol PbS.
Cool !!
@@ericstenberg7012 I guess it depends on the iron content in the galena, but it can be magnetic.
shocking start to this video. 😯
🤣🤣✅
If the background of this video is your backyard I’m coming over and turning on my machine Jason!!!!!!
Looks awesome 😂,
👍🍺🍺
Lotta lead laying around….💥🤣🤣🤣✅
I would suggest getting the silver stuff really hot. It could be a sulfide of some sort. Sulfides can lock up gold and keep it from dropping out. You could be hitting a poor spot in the ore.
Cool idea !
pretty cool thats some super small shinny
Insane small !
Thanks again
Always welcome😃
A saw tooth mat lets a lot of the fines to pass. I would recommend a Vortex Dream Mat when dealing with flour gold. It creates vortexes that concentrate heavies and expel all the quartz.
Noted !
Watching during lunch break!
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@FlourgoldWizards I did!
youre awesome jason.
thanks for the video.
your magnetics are pyrite with gold embedded
put your magnetics in a glass jar with boiling vinegar or weak, cold hydrochloric acid..
itll seperate the gold from the feS
once reacted, the shiny silver stuff will be native iron and the gold stuff will be au
I appreciate your input!
ya sort of need one of things Oak Island has that tells you what everything is. Sure looks like gold in it though. Gold wears an iron hat. Maybe a local University would scan it for you. I still enjoyed the video.
We enjoy making the videos 😃👍🏻🐕🦺🐕🐺
Hello cobble heads I hope all is well. Yesterday the wife and I decided it would be a fun day in the redwood forest. She was right and if you have been to the redwoods GO
It sounds awesome!
What a stupid day eh? I need a cobble. Hi Frank
Hot but fun ! 🐺✅
Yeah that BFH is a game changer 😂.
Tell my thumb that….🤣🤣🤣✅✌️
You're so optimistic about everything. Gets on the edge of the seat to see the results. Thanks again for sharing in on the fun.
Always!😃👍🏻
Definitely FUN!!!!
Anything outdoors !!!
Love the sluice big J. Sample & Sample some more. I think the glaciers have milled it out of the host rock for you. Over time, the low areas gold would wash down to settled in (ancient riverbeds & streams over bedrock) have filled in. If you knew where those were, and water is still nearby, and the bedrock isn't real deep, you could cash in. I hate geology reports, but once in a while, check for the area, you might discover what else is going on.
Much more investigation on the horizon!
Well that sure was exciting, perhaps you feel disappointed by the values, but as you say, sure was fun and i was kind of on the edge of my seat in this video with anticipation ! Keep going Jason, the values could improve when you do other pieces from that vein !! But as your amazing microscope indicates there is gold in that seam you found !
Deeper may be better!
You have a gold mine buddy!!!
So far !
Top Quarz is often leeched out. Deeper you have to go deep into that Quarz 😅🎉🎉
Deeper ✅✅✅✅
Really cool Jason. Your video is making me want a mighty mill. Great way to spend an afternoon and get some gold. Great video and cobbles to ya, 🍻🍺🍻
After awhile I got it to stand up by itself and I could use both hands !
You need a mortise/ post hammer style sample crusher.
✅
Hey brother, that silver looking material you were inquiring about what it might be, my brother claims that it is Chalcopyrite
Noted !
That stuff isnt shavings its alien moving metals. You hit the jackpot.
😃✅✅✅
Thought you had the legendary Nugent as a guest for a second!!!
No sir !
While this was a fun video to watch, I don't see the time and effort it will take for you to pursue this location to be worth it. Keep up with the hunting and I'll be waiting for the next awesome video from you.
Indeed, so far it’s been mighty lean !
I had to wear a mask today and it’s hot as balls here in Pa , I was polishing concrete floor on 200 grit level atm
Yikes 🥵🥵🥵
