I wouldn’t necessarily say Slim looked better than most people give him credit for (sorry Wade, love your vids but I disagree on that one!) as I wouldn’t say it’s his “awkwardness”, I put it down to low confidence during the exchange which was apparent in his mannerisms and movement which Gib was making a point of. If anything, Gib is looking more into Slim’s performances and fights (the fact he wanted to go further back on the clip of slim’s KO of papi to try and prove his point). Gib knows more about Slim than he leads on, which portrays in his venom and aggressiveness towards Slim which is an act of confidence. As for Slim, his goofy responses and “cringe” reactions in my opinion, shows some form of nerves or anxiety in the moment, masking uncomforted emotions (maybe a stretch but my POV). No, slim actually fought very well in that fight towards the end. It wasn't papi anything. Slim timed a perfect shot which caught him and then patiently waited and timed another one when he was backing up against the ropes that ended it. Had nothing to do with fatigue. They were well timed and accurate punches. He just looks awkward as shit for w.e reason but honestly he's probably the most underrated boxer in the TH-cam scene despite how good his record is.
