Thank you so much! Yeah man I thought it was gonna take me an hour or 2 just finished up after like 4 hours 🤣🤣 but that was the last piece to the “reliability” puzzle
This is definitely one of those “while you’re in there” type jobs. Lemme get the LED’s and ground effects ready😂 I’m doing this to my 06’ SS with a freshly rebuilt transmission this week. Thanks for showing what I’m in for 🥲
Nope. You take the lines OUT of those plugs and they will stay open moving forward. You then plug the metal cooler lines that you took out of there and you stuff them into the rubber lines that connect to the new trucool.
@@LS4Impala well 2 weeks ago my lower line popped out of the tube because I never tightened the hose clamps enough. My trans started slipping and I though it was going out then I pulled over saw smoke coming and smelled fluid and saw the problem. Easy fix but sucked I had to take the whole bumper assembly off again. I talk about it in my latest video
I do ALL my own car work so i know how hard that is. That's a lot of work. Good job.

Did you end up rebuilding the trans yet ?
Did you have to plug the ports on the radiator where the lines were originally at ?

Where to order
I got mine off of amazon
Is a line still going to the old one or no
No sir. Both lines were attached to the radiator and I took both out and connected them to the standalone cooler.
@@TheGearShiftGurusok cool and you havent noticed any issues since then?
