Does this character remind anyone else of urien in 3s? Dangerous oki with set ups, meter hungry, the loops remind me of tackle juggles. Is this a thing?
It is! Their sandwich pressure / oki can be very similar. I tried Urien first in SF5 because of that actually. Though they function a bit different mechanically since Urien has charge inputs while Kum doesn't.

Having trouble in putting the 623K and holding back, any tips?
Of course! the way I learned was to input Back and K at the same time. So the input was basically: 623 4K. You can also input it like: 623 K~4. Where you're essentially inputting the back IMMEDIATELY after pressing K. You don't HAVE to hold back and K after successfully inputting the move. However you're more than welcome to hold both and release at the same time if that helps you perform loops. That's my preferred method of performing loops but others do it differently.
