😭😭😭😭😭😭 Oh my goodness! I am boohooing so much. Reminds me of a gift I received at a time I couldn’t understand why I was suffering so much. My brother and I had an inseparable bond. Tragically, he died in a car accident. He died on July 7. Exactly 7 years later, on 7/7/17, I received a brand new kidney, from a deceased donor, after years on dialysis. I was so young 🥹 I immediately knew it was a gift from him 💝

The truth is best where this little girl can understand, Yes it is cruel to lie to Desiree, by her father committing suicide he did not go to Heaven, it was a nice gesture this other family did to help Desiree! Truth is always best!!! Jesus ❤ You All!!!

Such a beautiful story. My father, who I adored, committed suicide many years ago when I was 5 years old as did my son-in-law when my granddaughter was 6. Both good but troubled men. They have managed to make their presence felt since their passing and we know they are still with us.

Everyone listen to what just happened to me. As I was watching this episode God answered my prayers "miraculously" through some wonderful & anonymous benefactors to pay off a serious debt I've been carrying since my husband passed recently. Thank you Lord God Almighty for your miracles every day!! And for paying my debts especially while on that cross!!

I feel bad for the little girl she had a very special relationship with her dad and the fact that he took his own life I'm surprised the little girl didn't become deeply depressed

I loved this story about humans being kind and caring. But there's an unanswered question: how did the family who found the balloon track down Desiree's family? I doubt the note she wrote to her dad in Heaven included her home address!
I wondered that too. Were there computers then? Maybe they researched online - obituaries.
Or maybe they wrote the address on there in case someone found it. Which happened.
A beautiful story, but I'm confused. How did the man & wife Kno where to send the card ,& gift to the little girls mom?
I guess it had to have been either in the letter or on the back of it. I wondered about that, as well, but since Richard didn't go into how the man & his wife searched for & found her, I bet it was included. Source/God truly inspired the Mom & Grandma in so many ways, the Love in their heart leading the way, guiding them on.

20/20 because of my nephew Daniel in Virginia he was 19yrs old and healthy he donated all his organs and because of this child there is many many families that are celebrating Christmas this year even though it's been 2 years that he passed he thought about others to be able to help someone see help someone breathe help a Heart Beat Again his organs! help a lot of people even though my sister Grieves she knows there's many lives out there that are going on because of Danny Rakowski Jr may he rest in peace knowing his heart is still beating love aunt Christa merry Christmas to those family's that received his organs Thornburg Virginia.

I can't stop my eyes from pouring oh my gosh you guys I mean at 34 I lost both of my parents within a month of each other and I could never as a child losing could imagine losing my parents because it totally broke me then and that was almost what 20 years ago now anyway I thought that was one of the most heartwarming and touching stories I've heard in a long long time it gives me hope that I will one day see them again too
