I love this trick and i often do it myself on my trees. It is the easiest way to get rid of thick roots without simply cutting them off and risking the life of the plant. I like that you put that technique in an easy to understand video! Great work!
What type of tree is this? This video is amazing to see the root layering and smart trimming of roots. Nicely done. No one has captured this in such HD as this video. Easy to learn from. Thank you!
I am from the northwest spanish cost and I woul like to ask you if the same system can be used with a sprouting Pseudocydonia Sinensis, right now on the earlest March. Many Thanks
The root layering technique is very interesting! My usual go-to for solving bad nebari is just to ground layer it right above the rootbase. Works well when you don't have great radial patters like in this specimen.
Mchas gracias, tus videos son muy didácticos; es decir, realmente transmiten los conocimientos técnicos. Thank you very much, your videos are very educational; that is, they really transmit the technical knowledge. 👍🏼💖

Pseudocydonia Sinensis can also layer, so I think I can do the same work.
However, it may not be easy.

Hi Shinshi, what substrate is the maple in?
Think of the root part as a Japanese maple.
Shishigashira is difficult.
👏👏👏
