My buddy bought one last week off you guys. My girlfriend and I tagged along too cuz we are buying one. Good bunch of guys and very personable and knowledgeable! Worth the visit just to see the old Bronco setup alone. Good job boys!
Great tents for sure. Just took mine for my first winter trek. Any suggestions for the condensation guys? I had the two top side vents open and things got pretty wet. Tamarack model here
Hi Jarrod! Unfortunately condensation is unavoidable in all tents (ground or elevated) unless a heater is deployed or adequate ventilation is used. I personally have camped at -15C to test the condensation factor without a heater. On the first night, using only the vents you mention, I experienced heavy condensation. On the second night I used the vents along with the skylites which provided enough ventilation to avoid condensation. On my second outing at -15C I brought a diesel heater. These units vary in price from $200CAD-$1200CAD. They are safer than propane and i suggest everyone goes this route. I experienced zero condensation and still had to ventilate due to over heating. The term 4 season (as with all tents) refers to its ability to hold up under extreme snow load and severe wind gusts. We designed the structure and chose the materials of our RTT's based on this. Hope this helps!!
On the ponderosa every single time I go to close, the front awning breaks loose and swings into the side of my truck..needs two People to close properly first time. Makes difficult when I’m solo duckhunting. Any tips or tricks on how to prevent that?
Just curious what distinguishes the price disparity in roof top tents? Like, why is a tent from you guys worth $3800 when Yakima’s are $1600? I’m trying to decide on a tent and wondering why so many price differences. Also, what is a lifespan of one of these tents? Ultimately that could make a difference in a large purchase like this.
Glad you asked. It's a common question and put quite simply....Quality! Our price reflects the quality of our tents as does Yakima's price. The differences are immense which is why we are using TH-cam as a platform to get across the many unique features and materials that differentiate Treeline form other RTTs on the market which are typically cheaper than ours. Another is customer care. It has been less than an hour since you asked your question. Imagine how quickly I would respond if you had an issue with your Treeline tent! Call Yakima right now and ask them the same question. Would you walk into a Porch dealer and pose the same question about the lesser priced KIA? We stand behind our product. We took an existing item and made it better! Better because we live in Canada where it could snow 3 feet at any moment. Rain typically falls sideways and the wind flips semi's on the highway! We made it strong enough for the Canadian climate and vented everything for the hot arid climates such as the Southern States and further!
Treeline Outdoors thanks for the response. Do you guys ever have sales? Saw some old Black Friday sales online. Wouldn’t be so bad if shipping wasn’t over $900.
@@philo2197 Rhino Adventure Gear might be a great option for you if you're close and they have what you want! The $900 is the shipping+duties+customs unfortunately. If they don't have what you're looking for fire us an email, we can do up a custom shipping quote for you which could save some $.

Thanks for the reply! Any pictures of the setup with the diesel heater? That sounds like the route I’d like to go
