@@dariofromthefuture3075 Brother the whole system is destroyed, India had the largest gdp when it was culturally in its peek and after muslim invasion also Hindus remained resilient and Indian was very ahead of other countries specially Europe but after the British occupation basically the industrial revolution and globalisation was the main factor which changed Europe and white societies where India lagged behind. Our whole educational system was abolished and people become so poor that only one way ahead was to become stable and earn money so they learned English and other skills which would help them to earn money as they do today by learning computer science and because of that gurukul became ever more rare. To be honest now India is bouncing back and i think after 2 to 3 stable generation and a whole atheist generational period in India people will go back to their roots and India the ancient wisdom will come back. My beloved. I Beseech thee to reconsider your stance. I too am a Brahmacraya . I know that it always was and is my choice to be a Brahmacraya in thought word and deed but without the mercy and Divine grace that I receive from Holly Mother I couldn’t be pure in thought, word, and deed by myself alone. Unless you live in a cave and never venture out I know your pride, will power and ego are not strong enough to keep you pure. I agree that many people do pray for everything but at least they are acknowledging the Divine. All I ever want is to do the will of the Divine and the fact that I have yet to achieve Samadhi means I have to ask for guidance daily in prayer. My JAPA turns into meditation and my prayers turn into praise for the Divine. I’m very sorry if any of my words caused you offense.
Nothing is external, whatever work you do, do it from your heart but not with the egoistic mind, always remember the soul in you is the same soul in everything which you see from the eyes, respect everything you come across, everything is I, everything wakes up with I, the source of all I is the soul/Atman/God/Self which can recognised by self enquiry if one is matured, if the one is matured the soul or internal Guru or Atman will manifest someone as external Guru

Wonders can be achieved if a human is willing to sacrifice. In this case, sacrificing one of the biggest desires of humans of all, the sexual desire. I have begun my journey. Brahmacharya is the surest path to knowing God and I ain't gonna waste that highest form of bliss for a mere 2 second burst of wasteful pleasure. Sex is for reproduction alone. And it should remain thus.

The controllers of this game of life have made sex a taboo of which it is not. Sex is actually a doorway to enter into the highest frequencies there are between each person and the experience charges you up more fully then anything else. Restraining yourself from good sexual intercourse with someone who is on the same frequencies with you is a loss. I do not keep company but myself and my spiritual guidances :) I love being by myself and read and listen to these books and lifestyle of ascended masters. I didn’t know how much joy is in this lifestyle till i experience it and it makes me feel weightless :) My12 years will come soon :) In the mean time,

I had tried to be a brahmachari several times, truth be told this is a difficult task I had failed miserably each time. Brahmacharya is for strong people with high will power. I sure I can complete 12 years of Brahmacharya one day. So that I am still trying

As a youngster, I was ignorant of this practice. Even 25 years ago, in my 40s, reading Shaolin Wisdom, all I got was painful "blue balls".
Doctor told me to masturbate.
Western Society wants all of us to be on lustful mode. Having a high libido is a "good thing". Religion says "go and multiply". It is a sin only if it is outside marriage.
When I finally decided to do Brahmacharya, I was going through the greatest lustful period of my life. When bad things happen, lust seems to be your best friend, for the instant gratification it offers.
So far, one of the best things I have done in my life is abstaining from wasting my semen. It clears your mind like nothing else before. It gives you the time to think about other things. It gives you the confirmation that you can conquer any other 'addictions' or whatever troubles you.
Do not be fooled by age. Lust does not go away by itself.
One must guard one's thoughts in order to succeed. This is very important!

I know there is the bliss of inner peace in finding the universe within but sharing sexually with another who has found the same is a bliss you'll never know exists also of which expands to other galactic universes of knowledge and understandings. Biological need is food
Temptation is taste
Need is love
Temptation is lust
Need is well being
Temptation is greed
The only reason we come here and take this body is understand us. Self realisation is the only real need we have, if we get trapped in temptations we get more away from the self and suffer.
The only things which hinder our path and should be removed from our minds are:-
Lust
Anger
Attachment to the temporary
Ego
Greed
And the only way to remove these things from the mind is to meditate, i.e to patiently observe the feelings and emotions attached from them, only observe no reaction on any of the above thoughts. That will make you absolutely blissful over the period of time.
Meditate daily 1st thing in the morning and being aware rest of the day not getting involved in continuous and useless thoughts, that's all a person has to do to realise everything.

It's a mind trap brother! This religion is nothing but Satanism wrapped in foil to hide its evil intent for your soul. Sex is a creating force an satanists use it for evil things the create and we don't even get taught how to use it to create things good opposite from the dark ones. Look and see what the dark ones do and what they create with sex and realize we are to create good with it and to use it to destroy their works of evil. Seek this and you'll find this religion is a big trap for your soul as all are.

Tatvamasi (you are that)
Ahambrahmasmi (I am brahman)

What this means is that for brahmacharya, you need morality. A moral person can never turn into a conscious person. The yoga, such as kriya karma gyana etc as such are all just steps or means for brahmacharya. A self realised person doesn't even believe in good or bad, but instead focuses on detaching himself from his body and mind. Not controlling them, but detaching them absolutely. The identity once become apart, he will eventually find a way to deal with his disturbance when the mind and body goes out of control. Walking the path of overcaution and fear is not a self realisation process. I agree about nature of mind and getting away from cities though. That is correct conduct

Bramacharya is one of the way to reach enlightenment faster than other ways like bhakti, Karma, Kriya yogas.
Many sages, rishis and gurus were married and lived happily
The only way to reach state of enlightenment is via path of bhakti yoga, karma yoga or jnana yoga. All the three form of yoga demand our practicing Brahmacharya (Celibacy) so as to channelize sexual energy to awaken kundalini shakti fully.
In present times one cannot reach God via path of bhakti yoga or karma yoga alone. One has to indulge in path of jnana yoga to remove darkness of ignorance forever.
If one can practice Brahmacharya, indulge in celibacy mantra nothing better.

I'm learning everything I can to begin this journey
No ejaculation along with, regular work out, healthy diet, study of religious books, meditation, cold showers and 8 hours of sleep for 8 months and I have felt some positive changes.
I was puffed up about my 2 year effort. I fell on ny face. But I will not accept becoming a moral wreck. Although it seemed very plausible until I watched this video.

after/while watching '40 days and 40 nights' back in the day.. we were discussing it and later i was engaged in some semi-philosophical _chintan_ with an uncle of mine and that is when i came to know/ was told.. that Bhishma (Ganga putra Bhishma) was a true brahmachari.. no nightfalls or anything else (you get it?) is the only true Brahmachari.. *besides of-course not letting the mind think of **_kaam_** or get thoughts of desire*
