FYI Catholics... In the year AD 382 at the Council of Rome the New Testament canon was decided upon for the sole purpose of the liturgy of the Catholic mass. This was based upon Catholic Church authority of the Pope and all the Bishops at the time. With that said when a protestant claims Bible authority tell them they are inadvertently claiming Catholic Church authority. Then ask them where in the Bible does it say it needs to be in the Bible? If you make that claim then you must have evidence to support it. If they shoot any questions at you that you can't answer tell them. It sounds like you are the one that needs to explore bible authenticity and Church history to find the truth. I'm not going to do that for you because I'm already good with the Catholic Church. That is a journey you need to research for yourself and do it using Catholic online resources rather than using biased protestant resources.

Unfortunately we have no writings from the Council of Rome, which means your claims that is where the New Testament canon was decided upon has no evidence.
It doesn't say anywhere in the collection of books that it needs to be in the collection of books, but because only Divine revelation is infallible and the only Divinely Inspired books we have are the ones in the Bible. We claim there is no other *known* infallible source.
Can you prove the Catholic Church has authority without the Bible? No you cannot, which means you are sola scriptura for that doctrine.

@@justinbest1348 Did you even watch this amazing video, which absolutely crushes all of the Satanic lies and falsehoods about the Bible perpetually being spread by Protestants in their Revolt against God and His Holy Catholic Church?!
Watch the video and learn the Truth. There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church.

Jesse, Just after 17 minutes in you mention a fellow who did a series of podcasts summarizing the Bible. Would you give us the link?

If we have ANY question about the Bible or the Catholic faith we should go to Jesse? Because he can truthfully answer any question correctly? There’s no doubt he has a lot of knowledge, but be careful. I love his passion but I have always been concerned about his ego and pride.
