Today I decided to build a Mediterranean house in The Sims 4 inspired by my own homeland Croatia. In this build, I'm trying to recreate the architecture known from the east shore of the Adriatic Sea called Dalmatia.
Architecture similar to this you can also find in the countries like Spain, Italy or Greece.
This house is built on the island in Windenburg, on the 30x40 lot. It's made for the family of three. Parents and a kid!

If you want to change my original walls or wallpapers, in order for everything to stay in place you need to install the Better BuildBuy mod from the Twisted Mexi ( / 58259532 ) and turn on deletion protection as an option in BBB's filter panel. Turn it on while necessary and turn it back off immediately after.

As someone who is very into architecture I have to say this has always been one of my favorite types of styles! The white stone is so beautiful, matched with the coast in the background just gives it such a wonderful light feeling! This is such a beautiful build

i really love your builds because of how organic and detailed they are, usually whenever I build I always build huge mansions and palaces but I can never built a simple little house because I keep adding on things, and end up making it look too cluttered and unorganized, you have a very good balance and know how much items should be in one place to not make it look overcluttured but also make it look lived in and cozy. this house brilliant

I’m usually put off by builds that use CC (mainly because I know that downloading a lot of CC for one lot probably isn’t going to turn out well for my poor laptop), but this was so beautiful I just had to watch it from start to finish. I’m also a fan of Mediterranean architecture (being Italian and all), so hopefully Tartosa will be the go-to place for our style from tomorrow onwards!

I went to Croatia a couple years ago for a wedding. The island of Vis, absolutely beautiful country, really want to visit again.

I love this build! I don't think that kids creativity is stiffled by the internet, beccause it really gives them access to new resources and new ways to express themselves! We live in a technological society and that's the future going forward, so kids have just found new and more widely accessible ways to express themselves! What I would have given as a kid to be able to go online and learn how to knit so I could open an Etsy shop, but that wasn't my reality growing up. So I love that now, kids have the opportunity ~

I don't think that internet hasn't brought anything useful. But small kids needs to be socialised and that's the main reason why it's important for them to play physically as well. I was a nanny for 10 years and I can tell you that there is nothing creative that a 8 or 10 year old kid is doing on a phone. They are mostly playing mobile games. I don't think that they are thinking about opening an etsy shop since most of them don't understand what etsy is. Teenagers do however. 😊😅

This villa remains me best time on my life. It was when my brother lived in Croatia and we spent vacation together. I wanna go to Croatia next year. It not so so far away, because I'm from Poland. I take almost 12 hours, but I can travel there by car.

there have been theories going around for the wedding pack to have a mediterranean world! I absolutely adore the architecture too and we need more culture packs. We have city living, snowy escape and kind of island living who give great cultural items but I can't help but wanting more!

as for different styles without cc we have victorian, carpenter gothic, colonial American, art noveou, Spanish mission style, morrocan, Japanese and the English cottage style . we also have modern styles like mid-century modern, contemporary, art deco, industrial, minimalist/ikea style, and a bit of renaissance with discover university
Yes but unfortunately non of this styles in the sims are full. No kitchens, no good windows, doors or panelled walls... Unfortunately it's not working out for me and I have all the packs 😭
Create-A-World mod by Twisted Mexi & Reshade mod. You could totes remake Windenburg! It would be a huge undertaking! But yeah… olive trees and palms!!
