I am learing English for the begining so this is really helpful thank you so much I don't understand some words you said but understand 70% I think . You are really good teacher it is easy to understand when you speak. Thank you
Great Class. This guy is an excelent teacher. Thank you James for the class. I was very confused about using these words, now I'm really comfortable with this.
I just found you today. I have to say i like your method with a little bit of humor, and I love , how you always make the board so nice :)-- Thanks , keep going
Thanks, James. You're such a nice teacher! I'm always impressed by your creativity and commitment about teaching in funny ways. Best regards from a Brazilian admirer.
Man, I got 2 things to say to you: 1- I've seen like 2 or 3 of your videos and let me tell you that this is the best way to learn english for me. It's funny, dinamic and most of all I get the Idea through the idea/concept that you're trying to explain! 2- I'm from Chile, I've worked as Math and Phisic teacher and even when I do the class in spanish It's so hard to do a nice class. The same thing happens with languages and even that, you can teach concepts and grammar so easy! Keep going man! =)
l found you coincidently when l was seeking for to ease my learning process. your videos have been so helpful to improve my English skills. l suggest you to all people around me who wants to learn English.
It's good you emphasis on extremely as too harder. Its made more sense to us as the learners to eventually understood the main difference of the two words.
I always thank you and TH-cam for these free English learning courses. No offense but I think many English teachers in TH-cam miss one thing. The thing is, they use intermediate level of speaking English to explain rather lower level of English. The learners has to understand their spoken English before trying to understand the topic. It woud be better for them to match 'your English level' with the level of the topic.
We use them differently even though either one could be used in certain sentences. For example: "This lemonade is so sweet because you used too much sugar" but you could also say "This lemonade is too sweet. Why did you use so much sugar?". What I am trying to say is that it depends on the context.
James, you're so funny! I love it when you fake accents.. The best English teacher in TH-cam, definitely! Keep it going, my man.. Best wishes from Brazil!
Your videos are very helpful to understand some doubts we (non-english speakers) have. I've got one doubt that even having lived for a while in the UK I still have: when to use TOO, ALSO, or AS WELL?
I love you so much every time I see your videos! You have a funny attitude and a little bit of humor. I think so, we are all agrred that you are the best english teacher we've ever seen here. Alright? Let's go to see another lesson at 2p.m in germany!
Side note: Too can also be used in another way. I'll explain with a sample dialogue. A: What is your favorite color? B: My favorite color is blue. A: Really? Me too! Character A is implying that blue is also their favorite color. Too sum up, "Too" can be the same as "also", but saying "me also" would sound very weird.
10:24 I am not a native English user but I often heard in movies, "I think so" was often expressed by "Tell me about it". Is it right? Could somebody explain me about it?
I just want to say thanks so much man, you are the best teacher ever, I really love the way you are man, the way you teaching, God Bless you... 100/100...*****...
Hello, I don't know if they ended up making a video about this so I will show some examples to try and help you out. Indeed shows agreement, understanding, or confirmation, and would probably be used in response to something that someone else has said. " A: Did you see the basketball game? B:I did! A: It was a close game wasn't it? B: Indeed! Note: Although this would be a correct response it would sound unnatural in most cases.
You are such a good teacher. The way you explain is so awesome. I am very happy indeed to learn from your channel . You are absolutely innovative. I am very impress your explanation is not to much turtous unlike my teacher in college before was too bad .
Hi, I'm Turkish and I've been learning English. I really liked your videos and the way you teach. I would like to be an English teacher here in Turkey some day. I'm not very clear about the positive 'too'. when you say 'you are too kind', its not actually a positive thing. Yes, being kind is a good thing but when you say 'you are too kind' it actually means, its more than enough, you shouldn't be that much kind. It sounds to me like that. Am I wrong?
I alway smiles when I watch your lesson :). Thank you James

Side note: Too can also be used in another way. I'll explain with a sample dialogue.

Character A is implying that blue is also their favorite color.

I am glad you are there I need school I am ,looking for It's learning more on your video
Could I say "You are so kind!" ? I used to hear this sentence from an American series.
I think yes, you can since "so" is possitive and you want to compliment somebody. So you can say "too kind" and "so kind" in general.
