The velvita Mac-n-cheese is the liquid cheese kind that are shaped like shells and Kraft Mac-n-cheese is the powdered cheese with the curved noodles
They are called elbow macaroni 😁.
And Velveeta is also a Kraft Foods brand so Dallin was right about that.
Especially if you like fondue! Velveeta shells Mac n cheese is the best!
Hot water does boil faster but, it's better to boil cold water. There are dissolved minerals from the hot water pipes. So it's recommended boiling cold water.

My mom does the Velveeta block with shell noodles for Thanksgiving and that is the best mac & cheese. I like the Annie's individual mac & cheese too.
If you try to boil hot water is faster because it has to be at 100°C to boil and if is already in 30 someting it has to get the temperature high less time

A tip for Americans: get a kettle. It genuinely surprised me to find out that kettles aren’t that popular over there, how do you have the patience to wait for water to manually boil like that😂

One is elbow and one is shells. The shells come with a packet of liquid cheese, and yeah, that tastes better than the powder.
Iam from England and in my family we boil the kettle and put it in the pan so the water boils faster.. but in America you don't have kettle in homes alot .

Yes it will boil faster because the water doesn’t have to heat up from cold start.

Ehhh. But if you heat up the pan before adding warm water, it will boil faster! Also, getting an electric kettle for boiling water for pasta is a game changer.
I've heard the same thing about the hot water boiling but I'm not sure how true it is. I avoid using hot water bc I always heard that it loosens up more minerals and stuff from the pipes so it's a little dirtier water. Idk though lol
