I am a ford guy through and through, but that Megazilla price is about $7k too high in my opinion. I just don't see many selling at that price. The coyote block will sell at that price, in my opinion. A SBF Dart block with that holding power is around $4k, and the iron coyote is for a specific crowd. I think it will do ok.
There is a large Cobra replica fanbase who will probably drop the Megazilla engines in their replicas. The 430 hp version started catching on, and I imagine these higher horsepower versions will, too. Plus, that is 'MSRP' not necessarily cost at purchase.
Is ford ever going to make an aluminum block for the godzilla? I'd also love to see the production numbers for the mega-zilla in a few years.. only a moron would buy that instead of building a used unit for half the price, pretty much every other cate engine they offer is a better product than the mega-zilla for any application except for use in a truck, and a whipple on a used godzilla would be a better value with the same reliability, just a joke...
Cast iron coyote block if it's as good as the old 60s 70s ford 429 load it it will tote it that was the word back in the day concerning how much the 150 would haul and how many RPMs you could turn the 289 and 429
Who do you think approved these projects to be completed ? Ford is big globally, and GM is not, so they focus mostly globally, but atleast their still trying to cater to their American crowd.
5300.00 not 53000....and 2ndly in a few yrs u will be spending another 20k on a battery replacement sooooo good for u....when the power grid becomes dangerously over used and electricity hits 5, 600.00mo for a 3br house and you are told you can no longer use ur ac at certain times I bet then you can bitch about all those v8s running around while u can't find a way to charge ur battery ..
I bought a 363 stroker and couldn’t be happier it made 550hp and 500ft# at 6500 on Holbrooks dyno
Long live the V8! Thank you Ford.

That's actually budget friendly.... smdh
Why don't you make anything for the EFI 460. Plenty of them on the road that can make lots more power with a set of heads and intake.
Better late than never!
Thats ma boi ❤
Are they going to offer a kit for the wipple supercharger for the Godzilla?
Whipple has offered one for year. We've covered it on the channel.
Is it four cams ?
No has 1 cam and pushrods.

23k for a bock shit. I’d buy a noonan block and heads for 27 out of billet polished
Well I'm glad to see Ford parts department remembers who their customer is, the CEO of Ford does not know their customer
They have to bow to the almighty epa

it doesn't go in a Mustang so I'm not sure what it's for???
It can go in the mustang.... and it's in trucks etc.. what do you mean?
They blow head’s gasket anything over 20 lbs
Bs
I would keep my stock 7.3 Godzilla and add a blower
Does it have four cams ?
@@Jack_sparrow-am-different Google is your friend
$23K for an iron block Megazilla? Evidently Ford doesn't want to sell any.
Especially with a regular crate Godzilla 7.3 at about $8,0000.
Just like the $100,000.00 trucks.
That's MSRP pricing. Still kinda high though.
You can’t afford it?
From an accounting perspective there’s a sweet spot between volume and revenue. No, they probably don’t intend to sell a bunch.
I think cleetus hurt your sales😢 might want to make that situation go better and show everyone
The engine costs 53,000 $ ??? I would buy a Tesla no oil leak no miss fire no heat no cam shaft no all that sh it . I will see you in 5 years from now
