7:00 Stop fucking complaining about the weather or the sun hitting the concrete or the passing train (wtf?) all those guys have been skating in those conditions their entire lives.
Is it just me or do they give most skaters slightly lower scores than they deserve and Huston slightly higher scores than he deserves? I mean that double 360 flip down the stairs I felt should have been around a 9.5. The commentators themselves said he was likely the only person on earth who could do it.
+Shander Muniz for real. They always say they get judged higher for doing tricks no one else does but... doesn't seem true based on this. I mean, imagine anyone else doing a whole line switch.
I gotta be honest; switch can be kind of boring. I know it’s hard, but I’d rather watch Evan or Joslin do something huge and exciting regular than watch P Rod do a bunch switch tricks on a little ledge. The judges are probably aware of that. They have to score switch higher but they want to see excitement, style, innovation. Nyja is can super tech tricks that no one else can do first try and he can do them down big obstacles. So he usually wins. I’d love to have seen Cole win but he got hung up on that ledge trick that wouldn’t have scored suuuper high. He could have been more strategic. That said, the fs switch 360 flip should have got a 9. It was a decent sized obstacle and it was perfect with amazing style. It’s a great looking trick that no one else does. Shane also isn’t strategic enough. He tried a little too hard right off the bat. Remember when Malto used to be in them. He wouldn’t even flip his board and he won one. Shane could easily do that and then throw in 2 bangers at the end. Lastly, if they gave 1st to Evan just for flare, I wouldn’t complain. I hope he wins one one day.
Big thanks to Rob Derdek, the countries and cities that open their doors, hearts, and minds to skateboarding. And all the men and womfn behind the scenes. And the fans! B
BER2ERKER Hahaha, thanks, that makes sense. With the video saying Barcelona and everyone else saying Barcelona I had no idea. Funny thing is that I actually stayed for a week pretty close to Badalona when I went to Barcelona.
+Dizzy Kid Dizzy im sorry to tell you this. But it was in Barcelona... Some people just say it like that, dont ask me why. But it was in Barcelona, not Badalona.
Bro people hate on Nyjah why? He lands everything that’s why he always wins, let the man be, being a hater is not a good look, I’m sure if it was you, you wouldn’t want people discrediting your success by saying the judges score him better than others, he gets scored well because he does the hardest tricks and makes them about 90 percent of the time
Stop posting the outcome in the description, if we want to know who is going to win we will just skip till the end or watch it full (what almost everyone does) thank you
@@Givenher not to be that guy but was it really an impossible? He tends to do 360 pop shove its like an impossible but his back foot never wraps around the board.
Damn, Nyjah's really good under pressure. Can't argue with the win, he truly deserved it. However, I really rooted for Paul this time, his crooked nollie flip out was unbelievable. But why did he try it again on another rail :( I think he should've went for switch 360 flip over the stairs which he does on lock. It would've been enough for the win.
Varial heelflip back 50 50 is an 8.5? Crazy cause I don't think that's ever been done before in sls, it was first attempt and landed literally perfectly, on a round rail, not a hubba or ledge, and it only gets a 8.5? Usually judges reward nbds in sls. Highway robbery. Manny is the ideal skate culture ambassador
How evan smith gets a 4.5 for his first run is beyond me. I might just not know skating but can someone explain how that wasn't far and away the worst run out of the first heat.

mani was so underrated wtf
Tom Asta always scored incredibly low for insanely tech tricks
He did it on low obstacles tho
8.3 was pretty fair for that 1st ledge trick. It was sick, but low...
I swear lol the judges some haters

No, all the skaters get the score they deserve. I trust that all the judges have the upmost integrity.
@@spitwicked6188 i think your joking but in case ur not the judges are mostly right but they underscore often
The switch double trey flip was definitely underscored. They don't over score Huston, they underscore everyone else
Hmmm 🤔 i dont know why but the scoring system is giving me a weird feeling..
@Tate Richard shut up ya scammin losers
he says Manny puts together good lines but he did 4 tricks
God damn p rod is such a choke artist
I swear rowley is a jinx lol. every time he compliments someone they bail ahaha
P Rod got robbed on his first run. Everything either switch or nollie, didn't bail and doesn't even break into the 8's
this happens on all his contest he makes is look so easy the the judge's forget it switch :/

Every time these announcers say something the opposite happens. lmao
21:42 The city of Bottleona? 😂
He says "Badalona", which is a city in the Barcelona metropolitan area where this skatepark is actually located.
i swear the scoring system is set up perfectly for nyjah to win
I agree we need some non biases judges
nyjah: ollie´s on flat
judges: 10.0
No, that was Evan Smith.
His name carries him. He scores .5 - 1.0 higher every trick just cause his name is Nyjah...
Weird because the video I watched he scored a 3.5 on his first run. But yeah let's act like his name carries him.....

A lot of people say that man
Jennifer Lawrence these guys are fuckin tards, they literally said BOTALONA over 13 times

"his really good at mid size everything" -Anouncer
8.3 for a switch frontside 360 flip?? Kk
Santiago 4.9 injustiça
And manny santiago got 7.4 for lazerflip board slide
Yes horrible judges this is the worst Ive seen in any sls even worse than the 2010-2014 days
54:03 even o'neill was surprised for the rob that manny got as a score
These judges will give Nyjah 9+ even if he doesn just an ollie and falls.
+Zenmaster Jared jealous much?
The judges weren't fair at all
Scorpio yeah these judges forgot the rule book when it comes to scoring
Not true
Yeah but a kick flip 360 board slide is a very technical trick with a lot that could go wrong. Nyjah deserves the win
Paul goes both ways ladies and gentlemen
Love Evan smiths interview
Does the announcer have to explain what switch is every time someone does a switch trick
Ya for people that d9nt skate that watch this ya probably have to explain
Cade o Luan Oliveira ?
Can’t wait to go to one of these

Nynjah.
47:21 what’d he say?
1:23:49 I like how she doesn't even hug him back..just gives him a shoulder shake after and a "nice job" lol

Anyone else notice The Trooper by Iron Maiden in Nyjahs run?
why they keep saying battlelona
That’s the name of the area they’re in, Barcelona is the name of the whole city, but it’s broke down into different sections just like any other city
and it's called Badalona.
Fucking love watching evan skate
Yeah same, such a fresh skater here
Why the fuck does he keep saying "Bottlelona"?
Badalona is a town of its own, that's either part of Barcelona or nearby.

So it literally took 5,000 hours worth of work split between 8 workers to build this course? That's a little over 208 days. Is that right?
Sorry but santiago put up 4, 9 club tricks and got scored 7s. Judges definitely sus here
be posted in December, still
